Hp omni will not boot past starting windows

windows is corrupted, (guess at huge virus attacks.) needs fresh load from HP recover CD, lost those,? if the fresh load fails then the HDD is bad. i can see you tried safe mode but fails. an all in one, quasi desktop, not a true desktop at all. its like large notebook with legs. and as such more hard to repair, (parts non standard) looks like its a 2012 product from HP, so is supported until 2022. i guess the F11 key recovery failed. so page 13 in the book on this PC tells you how to make recovery media ah but only works on a running system(must be done day one new pc, so you have this recovery DVD-r or USB stick. quote Recovery media can be created on either blank DVD discs or a USB flash drive (one or the other, but not both). Create recovery media from the recovery image stored on your hard disk drive. This image contains the operating system and software program files that were originally installed on your computer at the factory. You can create only one set of recovery media for your computer, and the media can be used only with this computer. Store the recovery media in a safe place. end qoute. (wow only one set allowed) if the hdd is corrupted, even the restore partition can be a wreck. only real media is good, DVD or USB. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03255541 you can also , do it the hard way call hp and beg for media or use free micro soft down load ISO, for w7/8 or 10 and install the MS software then use the COA sticker on back of PC for the lic. activaiton. W7 in this case. then down load all hp drivers for w7 and intall them. there did all 3 ways for you.

HP Deskjet 960C Series error code 90020503

The error code 90020503 on an HP Deskjet 960C Series printer typically indicates a paper jam or an issue with the paper feed mechanism. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the error:
  1. Check for paper jams: Open the printer's access doors and carefully remove any jammed paper. Make sure to check all areas of the printer, including the input and output trays, as well as the rear access panel.
  2. Clear any obstructions: Look for any foreign objects or debris that may be blocking the paper path or causing the error. Gently remove any obstructions that you find.
  3. Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This will perform a power cycle, which can often resolve temporary issues.
  4. Check paper condition: Ensure that the paper you are using is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged. Straighten out any curled edges and make sure the paper is properly aligned in the tray.
  5. Adjust paper guides: Verify that the paper guides in the input tray are adjusted correctly to fit the size of the paper being used. Improperly adjusted paper guides can cause paper jams or feeding issues.
  6. Clean the paper feed rollers: Over time, paper dust and debris can accumulate on the paper feed rollers, causing them to slip and result in paper feed problems. Clean the rollers using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol.

Briggs and Stratton 19.5 hp engine. Does the small wire coming in underneath bring power in ?

If it's a magneto or ignition module then its a kill wire. I know of no Briggs and Stratton engines that used battery powered ignition. So connecting the kill wire to the armature of the magneto (ignition module or engine case) will prevent spark.

I got an AMD turion x2 64 processor in my new notebook n after reading reviews comparison to core 2 duo i m really tensed!

You made a good choice. In the CPU arena right now, the difference between the two CPUs is a toss up. The slight advantages of one vs. the other in benchmark tests is nominal and actually artificial..

What happens with an AMD CPU is with the associated GPU onboard. And with a 64bit processor, the number of apps and games that take advantage of 64bit CPUs has always been limited but they are growing. This will only become more and more numerous.

The main architectural difference in the two was in how the two cpus communicated and the AMD was first to use a bus between the two cores and the Intel had to go to the onboard memory controller and back. That was in the first inception. Still, AMD has been far in advance of Intel and Intel has played catch up in tricks inside the cores and how the north and southbridge took advantage of the cores' architecture.

Needless to say, I'm an AMD power user and my gaming rig has an AMD dual core on an Asus/Nvidia board and an Nvidia PCIe 9800 GPU.

In the long run, all modern notebooks require you to own a pad cooler to use these in your lap or not, they all produce heat. So, just get a good one designed for your laptop so it snaps into place and will keep your rig nice and cool.

At a LAN Party you won't suffer from having a dual core AMD cpu, you'll hold your own and it will be an even playing field and the wins will go to the person with the fastest fingers... as it should be.

Scanner scanjet g2710 blue shadow problem

The blue shadow problem you're experiencing with your HP Scanjet G2710 scanner could be caused by various factors, including issues with the scanner hardware or settings. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the problem: 1. Clean the Scanner Glass: Start by cleaning the scanner glass thoroughly. Use a lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner to remove any dirt, smudges, or debris that may be affecting the scanning process. Make sure to clean both the main glass and the small strip of glass used for scanning smaller items. 2. Check Scanner Settings: Ensure that the scanner settings are configured correctly. Open the scanning software on your computer and verify that the color settings, resolution, and scan area are appropriate for your needs. Adjusting these settings might help alleviate the blue shadow issue. 3. Update Scanner Drivers: Visit the HP support website and check for any available driver updates for your Scanjet G2710 scanner. Download and install the latest drivers to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause scanning issues. 4. Test with Different Software: Try scanning with different scanning software to determine if the issue is specific to a particular program. If the problem persists across multiple software applications, it is more likely a hardware issue. 5. Check the Flat Cable: Inspect the flat cable that connects the scanner head to the scanner motherboard. Look for any visible signs of damage, such as cuts, fraying, or loose connections. If the cable appears to be damaged, it may need to be replaced. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for assistance with replacing the cable. 6. Contact Manufacturer Support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it's recommended to contact HP customer support for further assistance. They can provide you with specific troubleshooting guidance or advise on any necessary repairs or replacements. When contacting support, make sure to provide them with detailed information about the problem, the steps you have already taken to troubleshoot, and any error messages or patterns you have noticed. This will help them diagnose and resolve the issue more effectively.

Where do I connect P6 and P7 for my HP 6000? CD-Rom is not working.

The P6 and P7 connectors you found inside your HP 6000 tower are indeed related to the CD/DVD drive. They are typically used to provide power and data connections to the drive. Here's how you can connect them properly: 1. Power Connection (P6): The P6 connector is usually a 4-pin Molex power connector. It provides power to the CD/DVD drive. Locate a corresponding power socket on the back of the CD/DVD drive. It should have four pins and match the shape of the P6 connector. Connect the P6 connector to the power socket on the drive. Ensure it is securely attached. 2. Data Connection (P7): The P7 connector is usually a 40-pin IDE or SATA data connector, depending on the type of CD/DVD drive installed. Locate the corresponding data socket on the back of the CD/DVD drive. It should have either a 40-pin IDE connector or a smaller SATA connector. Connect the P7 connector to the data socket on the drive. Make sure it is properly aligned and securely connected. After connecting both the power (P6) and data (P7) connectors, you can close the tower and start the computer. Windows should then detect the CD/DVD drive, and it should appear in the Device Manager. If the drive is still not recognized, there might be additional factors at play, such as driver issues or hardware problems with the drive itself. If the CD/DVD drive continues to have issues or is not recognized by the system, it may be necessary to troubleshoot further or consider replacing the drive if it is no longer functioning properly. Please note that the exact connector types and locations may vary depending on the specific model and configuration of your HP 6000 desktop computer. If you have difficulty locating the appropriate connectors or need further assistance, it is recommended to refer to the computer's user manual or contact HP's customer support for precise instructions tailored to your specific model.
