click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it or select audio from the microphone drop down list make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab and make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it hope this helps don

sounds like battery is not charged. You may have a dead battery and may need a new battery . Or battery needs to be left in laptop with power plugged in to allow it to charge.

I don't believe in any speed optimizer. Once you computer enters the slow-cow syndrome, nothing will speed it up - just as you can't speed up a slow cow.. Clean it, defrag it, check for malware but expectation to speed it is ZERO. In most cases all you can do is live with it till you can, then backiup your data and reinstall windows

HI Veronica, maybe this is a present from a family member. check with your family and see if someone sent you this. if it is sent to you by mistake it is not your responsibility to find the correct owner if your address and name are on the package. I would check with the authorities as to your claim of this. you may have to surrender it to a lost and found, but if they say it is yours then you can do what you want with it, give it away, sell it or use it. Black screen during login can happens for a few reasons. And there is a few solutions to it. But, one main thing is to ensure that your machine is free of viruses, malware and trojans. To do this, enter safe mode, install antivirus and scan your whole system. There is only few antivirus that can be installed in safe mode i.e : ThreatFire. Then, you should scan the drive. 1. Depending on your OS, sometimes, it happens due to incomplete updates. This cause crashes within the system and causing the driver to receive black signal. To solve this, try to resuscitate the system by going in to safe mode, enter cmd and run the "sfc /scannow" options to ensure that all vital files is intact. 2. It also can be caused by fault hardware or recent failure of updates for the graphic driver. If so, you can rollback the changes using windows restore or, reinstall the driver and use the 'standard' driver that windows has for a while before you install the updated driver. 3. if none works, install a clean windows without removing the data. Place the new windows in the same installation drive as previous one and your data will be moved to Window.old folder. It helps.
