There are 2 cause for this problem
1st possible cause is the fuser ( either resistance doesn't go to correct temperature, or temperature sensor is damaged and doesn't read the correct temp )

Make sure the covers are closed completly. It will not print unless its closed. If its not that, then check to make sure you didn't knock one of the cables loose inside the printer, and make sure the belt that moves the cartridges is still intact and is not jammed.

This is a service station error. One of the more common causes I have come across is a piece of paper or foreign object jammed in the service station. It is located on the right hand side of the carriage. Unplug the plotter. Plug it in and the minute that you hear the print head move, unplug the power. Then open the window, move the head out of the way and look for a foreign object stuck in the service station.

There will be one of several micro switches that detect when various doors hatches and flaps are open or closed. These are usually recessed behind small slots in the casing. Each will have a corresponding spike or flange on the appropriate door hatch etc. carefully examine each of the movable pieces and look for evidence of a small piece that may have broken off or a "socket" that does not have a "plug" to fill it. Test these by carefully feeding a non-conductive probe (just in case) into the port and feeling for a little bit of springy resistance. If you find one, fold some light card into a tube that fits snugly into the hole and depresses the switch. Close everything up and try the machine. Hopefully you will find the missing link, then it is just a matter of making a semi permanent plug that you can remove when you need to.

High probability that the print head has a terminal fault.

Go to your printer settings on the PC control panel (or equivalent subject to OS) and find printer properties, then find device settings. Check that Tray three (and others) are "not available" and or "not installed" preferably both.
The paper tray does not spring up until the tray is loaded into the machine.

It is possible that the seal or a significant portion of the seal is still in place on the yellow cartridge. It is also possible that the laser scanner window (transparent slot in the back wall or roof of the cartridge chamber) is covered or coated with toner.
