"Paper detected does not match paper size. or type selected. Make sure the paper size is correct to continue the job" This is now on the display window. Nno changes were made. Help!

You give no details what job has been sent to the printer before that. Probably your printer settings about the paper are some standard for your area like A4 for example, but you are trying to print a file, received from a place on earth, where the paper used in printers is different format and the file has been prepared for print on Legal, for example. To reset the process, find the print job in your Devices and Printers folder and delete it. Then power cycle the printer. Then check the document and make ajustments to it fitting the printer settings. Then print it again.

HP J8750 Cartridge error

I had this "Cartridge error" problem on my HP J5780 printer. Replaced the cartridge, but still got the same error. Then removed the cartridge and used a cotton swab with a little denatured alcohol, and gently and carefully cleaned the contacts in the printer. Followed this with a dry swab to be sure no alcohol left. Replaced the original cartridge, and have been using it for a week now with no more error message.

The printer cuts off the

Yes, most likely your application's margin settings are incorrect. Try printing a test page - NOT from the application. If this is Windows, go to printers in control panel, right-click on the subject printer, choose Properties, then click the Print Test Page button. You should get the standard Windows printer test page with the logo at the top and all the printer specifics below. If the test page is also cut off, look around in the HP-provided software for any margin and/or page size settings that are incorrect, such as A4 paper when it should really be Letter size.

You printer is not communicating the operating system. There are many options on how.

First uninstall the printer (make sure you have the printer driver disc).
All the procedure are going to RESTART the system, manual or automatic.
Remember, mostly installation are not power up or connected and wait until load drivers are done. This a normal step.

Or maybe like this example, you're going to set it online.

My printer is stuck in

Hello Same problem for me. found a procedure to get back to Service Menu which works for HP 8600 : https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/X476dw-doesn-t-boot-Help/td-p/5044674 1. Unplug the power cord (!) 2. Insert power plug while keeping power button pressed. 3. While the HP logo appears on the screen, keep the button pressed. The screen will go dark. KEEP THE BUTTON PRESSED for another 5-10 seconds. 4. Let go of the button. The screen remains black. 5. Push Home-Back-Home-Home button. The buttons are usually not visible, so refer to the manual, where they are on the touch screen. (Home is left of the upper left corner of the touchscreen, Back is left of the lower left corner) 6. A blue menu comes up, with four choices. 7. MENU on the lower right has a FULL RESET option.

Printer failure officejet pro 8600 there is a problem with the printer or ink system

I would like to share my solution to the problem. usually a bad ink cartridge. Take out one cartridge at a time and see which one it is you pulled out after which the message disappeared. Most times a remanufactured or refilled ink will cause that, but sometimes a genuine HP cartridge can trigger the message. Check out the video for better explanation. I hope!

Hp Officejet 6500 won't feed paper

Problem: The 'drop down paper grabber' gears are not turning, and the printer gives you an error saying to make sure there is paper in the printer. All of the fixes on the internet are for working printers, and their approach is to clean the rollers if they are not grabbing the paper. They are assuming they are turning properly and the rubber grabbing wheels are wither dirty of dried out. In my case, however, the gears were not turning, and so the rubber grabbers wheels were not turning, even though the whole 'paper grabber' unit was dropping down properly Solution: Just inside the paper loader tray, along the top, there is a metal rod. It is about 1 inch from the front. The gears from the drop down paper grabber are supposed to meet a gear that resides on this rod and sort of floats on it. However, the gear on my printer slipped to the left, and was not making contact with the other gears. You can gently put your finger on the gears as you do a copy command, and confirm this. To fix the printer, I just slid the floating gear over to the right and into place, and the paper began feeding properly. Why there is nothing to keep the gear in place is a mystery to me.
