Possible that the memory is fault , the mother board is faulty or the monitor is not working. So if teh PC is shutting without any display check the PC with another external display to confirm the monitor.
If not the PC had errors in the hardware.
I need more information than partition problem what is wrong with the partition are you trying to make 2 hard drive partitions one (2 partitions on one hard drive) or are you trying to make a new partition, etc
