What are the benefits of having used RVs for sale

Mainly a matter of affordability, Rv;s that are second hand are usually checked over mechanically to ensure safety before sale. You can also arrange and inspection for an opinion through your Road Assistance group to double check.
Well new ones arelready roadworthy and all new and under warranty i hear you say, but the thing is any faults that have occurred have most likely been fixed already and will not be stranding YOU on the road.

There is usually a history of repairs effected on pre loved Rv,s and in doing your research you can estimate what brands to avoid if some seem excessive and consitent with certain parts.

The other thing to remember is a new RV at say $30,000 is valued at that while its on display. Buy it drive it out and around the block and bring it back to sell and its only going to bring $22,0000. With pre loved units doing the same thing will result in only half the loss of a new one.

Sold privately the pre used will bring you more return if it has a good on road history and regular service.

I have had 4 RV.s and only the fiorst was new, It had more things go wrong whilst on holidays than i could count and because it was under a service agreement I could not call a mechanic to it and had to get it back to the dealer. The holiday was a disaster!
Since then i have had second hand ones, not all trouble free, but I could call any local guy to get it to his workshop and fix it. Ther repair costs were not expensive and many of the manufacturers and bodybuilderfaults had already been ironed out.

For me.. why pay $30,000 when you can pick up a hardly used ( in many cases) the same vehicle, 12 months old for pretty much half the price with all the faults ironed out.

House radiator nut is stuck

Try and use some wd 40. You can also use a pair of pliers our vice grips and get a good grip and turn. The WD 40 method should allow to sit for at least 8 hours.

Black smoke from the exsaust

air to fuel mixture is too rich . this could be due to carburettor adjustment , a faulty check valve sticking in the open position , a defective float or even the choke in the full close position . so take your time and check the things i have mentioned , one at a time .
