F08 indicates "Heater Relay stuck or Pressure Switch stuck on full". You'll need a multimeter to be able to carry out some checks. Check the heater for continuity, you should get a reading of around 25 ohms. Check the pressure switch connections on the main pcb, usually J3 Check the pressure switch wiring and connections. Chek the wiring at the heater for internal breaks. (The wire looks ok but when pulled snaps easily). Check the pressure tube and chamber. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Take the lid off and locate the pressure switch. Take off the thin tube attached to it and blow down the tube to try and clear any restrictions in the pressure hose or chamber. Refit the tube and try the machine again. If everything checks out ok, it would suggest that the main pcb will require replacing and the software written to it.
The problem is most likely internal. You can try disassembling your machine up to the point where the technician will be a welcome sight. Check out some YouTube videos to see what you are letting yourself in for.

If you are competent at electrical repairs, then read -on, otherwise order a replacement, and have it fitted.
Isolate supply.
Remove top cover by removing screws at top rear, slide cover rearwards.
Control board is on right at the front.
Test connections - remove and replace all connections, checking for signs of arcing.
Check main wiring loom to motor for integrity and damage.
If no signs of damage, remove control unit board, and examine for arcing or poor contacts, overheated components or damage.
If everything still looks ok, a replacement control board should be fitted and the machine tested.

Hi,There are basically just few reasons :1. Maybe the water pressure is too low2. Hoses are blocked - check that there are no kinks in the cold water fill hose and the waste water hose too3. Clogged inlet valve - the water inlet valve supplies hot and cold water. You can read more about most common washing machine faults here - https://www.justfixed.co.uk/washing-machine-problems/
Important: Switch the power off from the wall socket and unplug your washing machine first! Remove the bottom panel - you will fint the filter here. Please place a towel in front of the filter to absorb any water. Thanks Carolyn, it looks you have a very old model - the bad news is the filter is under the drum. It would be hard to explain here and I don't have this model in the repair shop to send you a photo, but I have found a good video that will show you where the filter is placed, please have a lookhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyXvsbDMkrsHope this helps.?Best,?Dave
