My Hotpoint FUFL1810P that keeps beeping and the lights inside are flashing when the door is opened.

Something to think about from the manual for your freezer. Also I would check the temperature of your freezer with a thermometer to make sure it is freezing ok .Troubleshooting If the appliance does not work, before calling for Assistance (see Assistance), check for a solution from the following list. The green POWER indicator light does not illuminate. • The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not far enough to make contact, or there is no power in the house. The motor does not start. • The appliance comes with a motor protection control ( see Start- up and use ). The indicator lights are on but the light is dim. • Pull out and reverse the plug before putting it back in the socket. a) The alarm sounds. a) The refrigerator door has remained open for more than two minutes (the buzzer will stop sounding when you shut the door) or the correct switching-off procedure was not followed ( see Maintenance ). b) The alarm sounds and the two yellow indicator lights flash. b) The temperature in the freezer is too high. Check the quality of the food products and dispose if necessary. + buzzer = Heating is excessive c) The alarm sounds and the two yellow indicator lights as well as the green one flash. c) The temperature in the freezer has reached a dangerous level. The food must be disposed immediately. + buzzer = Heating danger b/c) In both these cases the freezer will maintain a temperature of about 0°C so that the food does not re-freeze. To turn off the acoustic signal open and close the refrigerator door. To restore normal operation bring the FREEZER OPERATION knob setting to (off) and turn the appliance on again. The green POWER indicator light flashes. • The appliance is not operating correctly. Contact the Technical Assistance Centre. The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well. • The doors do not close properly or the seals are damaged. • The doors are opened too frequently. • The OPERATION knobs are not on the correct setting ( see Description ). • The refrigerator or the freezer have been over-filled. The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze. • The REFRIGERATOR OPERATION knob is not on the correct setting ( see Description ). • The food is in contact with the back inside wall of the refrigerator. The motor runs continuously. • The SUPER FREEZE button has been pressed (rapid freezing): the yellow SUPER FREEZE light is on or flashing ( see Description ). • The door is not closed properly or is continuously opened. • The outside ambient temperature is very high.

I have a hotpoint aquarius tdc 30 conderser

Hi, Well if it is getting hot but not drying the clothes than most likely you have an airflow problem. Take off the vent hose on the back of the dryer. It will be plugged up with lint either inside that vent on the dryer or the hose will be plugged somewhere. If you clean this or just plain replace the old hose this will take care of the problem. Good Luck. feed back is appreciated.

My Hotpoint Ultima WMD940 will not fast spin. What can I try before calling a technician out?

The problem is most likely internal. You can try disassembling your machine up to the point where the technician will be a welcome sight. Check out some YouTube videos to see what you are letting yourself in for.

Where to put rinse aid in cdw10 dishwasher

Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle more as it improves their drying. The rinse aid container is situated on the inside of the door. You should fill the rinse aid container when indicator lights up on the container and the rinse aid indicator light on the control panel flashes. You can use simple vinegar as a rinse aid (white is best but apple or malt is fine). Adding rinse aid. To open the dispenser, turn cap anticlockwise. Take care when you pour in the rinse aid to avoid it overflowing. You can regulate the amount of rinse aid used by the dishwasher, move the adjuster which you will find under lid. The amount of rinse aid needs to be increased if the dishes appear dull or you can see circular stains. The amount of rinse aid needs to be reduced if the dishes are sticky or see white streaks. 4a742317-5f4e-4dc2-8132-3e560755df09.png You can choose from six different positions. It is normally set to 4.

Son put very wet clothes in Hotpoint Dryer and caused it to stop working ?? Fixable? Bought in only 2017

This will depend on what has broken. Get a Good technician to look at it and they'll be able to tell you if it's a repair or replace situation. Start by checking the basic stuff first. Does yours use an overflow tank or is plumbed into the main house drain? If it is a tank, check it's empty. Some machines have an electronic safety cut off that trips on when the tank is full. The machine also has a large filter, usually fitted below the drum, That needs to be cleaned regularly. The three main mechanical things that need to be checked will be the motor, the drive belt and the drum bearings. Try this... With the machine Off and empty, try turning the drum by hand. It should turn smoothly with a small amount of resistance. Push the drum up and down. it should only move forward and backwards a small amount. As it turns it should have a quiet 'hiss' like sound. this is the bearing on the back of the drum. If the drum spins very easily it is possibly the drive belt is damaged or snapped. If the drum feels gritty and has a gritty noise as it turns it is possibly the drum bearings. If the drum won't turn or is very tight when it turns this is also a sign of bad bearings.

Hotpoint Aquarius WD440, Rinse Hold, Time Saver and On/Off light flashing

This is typical of a control board problem.
About 60% of the time they can be repaired, but it's easier to replace it than keep testing.

If you are competent at electrical repairs, then read -on, otherwise order a replacement, and have it fitted.

Isolate supply.
Remove top cover by removing screws at top rear, slide cover rearwards.
Control board is on right at the front.
Test connections - remove and replace all connections, checking for signs of arcing.
Check main wiring loom to motor for integrity and damage.
If no signs of damage, remove control unit board, and examine for arcing or poor contacts, overheated components or damage.

If everything still looks ok, a replacement control board should be fitted and the machine tested.

Hope this helps.

My Hotpoint fridge fan in the back of the freezer will turn on for a very short time and then stop not allowing cold air to the bottom

Fridge with a freezer on top? That is normally caused by an issue with the defrost timer. At the back of the freezer, you have the evaporator coils and because the defrost timer fails, it becomes one huge lump of ice. Because there is no air flow through it, cold air isn't vented down to the fridge.

FDW60 flashing 'eco' light error

I had this problem and discovered it was due to a leak. The float switch attached to the bottom panel was operating. Pull out the mains plug, tip the machine on it's side (water will escape so get a mop ready), remove the bottom panel, 3 screws front and back, disconnect the connector from the float switch. Tape the connecter up out of the way and stand your machine back up. Try running it now. If you have a leak somewhere then you will get a puddle under the machine. If no leak, then I would suspect the float switch itself.
