Need a fuel line diagram for my Homelite vac attack 2 model UT09834
You should have 2 lined coming from tank. A return and feed. Normally the return is the lowest positioned outlet on the carb, and the feed is at the top. When pumping the purge bulb take the gas cap off tank, and you should see fuel being returned to the tank from the return line. If not, switch the lines on carb. If still not returning fuel to the tank, you will need to pull the carb and inspect the metering and fuel pump diaphrams.

42cc homelite fuel line routing.
Perhaps you can follow these simple steps to solve your problem:
Start and let the saw run until its run out due to empty gas. Take off the cylinder cover, which sits on top of the saw. Using the needle nose pliers grab the rear end of the fuel line and gently pull it off the carburetor.
Remove the gas filler cap from the tank. Use the needle nose pliers to grab the fuel filter in the bottom of the tank. Pull out the fuel filter and the entire fuel line from the saw. Use the pliers to pinch the fuel line and with your hand pull the fuel filter off the fuel line. Throw both of these away.
Cut off about 10 inches of new fuel line and insert the metal wire into the fuel line. Push the wire and fuel line into the gas tank and through the hole at the bottom until you see the line come out near the carburetor. Don't connect it to the carburetor yet.
Pull the metal wire out of the line and cut off any excess line with the scissors. Pull it back out of the tank slightly and insert the fuel filter into the fuel line. Push them back into the tank.Use the needle nose pliers to grab the rear end of the fuel line and attach it to the carburetor.
I hope these helps. ??
