My Hitachi air-condition timer tight blinking 4 times . What can I do?

You might have let the brushes go to long and they are worn so far that they came out of the holders. Maybe try turning the blade backwards while pulling on the brushes.

I believe that error code means the fan DC motor is faulty. Check the connections first, if all seems ok, I'm afraid you will have to contact your nearest Customer Service and arrange to have a service call. If the AC unit is still under warranty then you may not have to pay for any parts.

To do a factory reset (System reset); you have to enter its service mode option. Like older model TVs, there is no switch marked "Reset"; to latest model sets. Check if there is a reset button on the back or located by the power button on your tv hope this helps

in the menu , the display or video settings should have different video display settings such as 16:9 , 1:1 , 14:9 ect... these will change the video display to different sizes

i'd say it's a ghost or a psychic power or a force from outer space you better be careful those things are scary

unplug. Press and hold power button 10-15 sec's then repower see if ok. Most tv's will go into standby if there is no signal detected.

First find the format of the video.

Insert the video cd to the computer and right click the video file and the click the properties menu, watch the file type(i.e: .flv , .avi ,.wmv)

Basically the hitachi saves in mpeg2 or mpeg4 type.

Use the GOM player to play the video Or there are many more players available to play that video.

I had whole redish/pink screen on my 50v500 starting a few days ago, then I read through each of the threads on this site for the samilar problems on my model. I found TVtechmaniac's solution (pasted below) solved my problem. Thank you TVtechmaniac!

1. Enter the I2C Service Menu, be sure the power is OFF.
2. On the front control panel, press and hold the INPUT button.
3. Then press the POWER button for two seconds.
1. You may keep the INPUT button depressed until you see the OSD with the Service Menu displayed.
2. If you don't see the service menu, please repeat Process making sure you wait until the Power blinking LED stops.
3. Execute the Memory Initialize operation after the adjustment values have been written on a sheet of paper. Highlight “MEMORY INTI”, arrow to the right and hold the button to the right (approx 5 sec.) until a check mark appears in the box. This activates the Memory Initialization.


4. After the Memory initialize operation has finished (10~15 sec, the channel will revert to CH 3.) the pink image symptom should be fixed.


5. Write back the adjustment values from your notes to their respective adjustment parameters in the adjustment mode. (In other words, set the Data Values back to the the Data values written down before the Memory Initialization procedure). NOTE: Make sure the SELECT Button is pressed on remote after every change to the values. Failure to do so will result in the data values not being changed.


6. Exit I2C menu. Press exit repeatedly until you go back to the normal picture.


7. Turn the set off-on and Confirm the picture remains in a good condition.
BE SURE TO COPY DOWN DATA SETTINGS BEFORE INITIALIZING I2C SETTINGS

Have over 5 here for Backups . lots of causes, for sure bad drive, or missing drivers.. bad HW hardware or BAD software SW. Missing 12vdc 2amp power pack>, lost or using wrong one. when pack above does the HDD spin? usb connected to PC. NO PC stated, NO OS stated, windows/chrome/Linux/android? its at lease 10 years old , see posts back that far. not good old HDD,this old. sold during W7 era. 2009. The drive has 3.5" HDD that needs lots of power (Amps) to start up that big motor inside, and is first thing to learn . 2amps it needs, ok? so if pack is missing it will never startup on any USB port, not rated for 20x standard USB load factors. some laptops only do 0.1amps (100mA) and are useless to startup any hdd motor of any kind. see why here. and see a better extremal solution cheap.! $10 http://www.pcdied.com/external-hdd.html
