Gallons air frying microwave isn't working the regular microwave warm up does not work everything else on the microwave Works Air fry Etc

I think you probably mean the microwave part is not working but everything else is. Possibly damages magnetron/diode pack/transformer/fuse/door switch.

Breville BOV900 timer doesn't count down, it just flashes.

It's a known door hinge switch problem. Remove the 2 torx screws on the bottom of each side, remove the 10 Phillips screws on the back, remove the 3 deep Phillips screws on each bottom outside edge. Pull the bottom edges out and slide the housing off the back. It's held tight by a rubber strip around the front of the unit. Locate the hinge on the left side and note that it is not pressing down the lever that indicates the door is closed. Bend the lever down so the hinge clears the top and depresses the switch. Test closing the door a few times to be sure the hinge clears the lever and is able to depress it when the door is closed. Seat the rubber seal and carefully slide the housing forward being sure the housing tabs are seated tight around the rubber sealing strip. Replace all the screws starting with the bottom. The door will close easily and the time will be working again. Estimated time for repair: under 30 minutes. Tools: Torx 10 screwdriver, small Phillips screwdriver, plyers to bend switch lever.

Microwave made a gunshot sound but continues to heat

You did not post the make and model number. The only thing in a microwave that would make a sound like that is the high voltage section that runs the magnetron. There may be a problem with the high voltage capacitor or the wiring and the diode in that section may be arcing to the chassis. The worst case scenario is not an destructive event it is a short that causes it to fail totally and could possible result in a fire.

I have a GE Microwave Oven/Dual Element Browner

Hi Dave in LA,

The wave gude cover is replaceable, the part number is1085082. The reason for arcing through is typically a splatter of food stuck to the cover and then the heating waves overcooked or burned it. Carefully replace the cover (panel), look for any burned spots behind the cover, if the wave guide is burned through, the Microwave is unrepairable. If the waveguide has small arc spots you can carefully clean (sandpaper) and use touchup paint to recoat. I hope this helps and if it does, please let us know!

I have a Miele h5080bm microwave oven. How can I

You can put a microwave safe bowl of water in the oven and heat it to boiling, stop the microwave, then leave the bowl of water in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes. The steam will loosen the dirt and grease and then it can be wiped with a damp sponge. More stubborn grease my need dish soap on the sponge and a little more elbow grease. Rinse it well with a clean sponge or dish cloth and warm water.

The inside of the glass of my new microwave is dented, is it dangerous?

Glass will not demt as it is brittle and will shatter. The inside cover is a plastic sheet and of no consequence if an air bubble is in it.

Our microwave will after about a minute will show E-5 and the food inside does not get hot.

Full make and model in all questions please. An E5 error code indicates a keypad failure. The usual fix is to replace the keypad, if they're still available for your model. Jul 30, 2019

I have a brita faucet

I have a Brita faucet filter (model FF-100) that lately has become harder and harder to turn. I toyed with the idea of forcing the unit apart but, instead opted to lube the mechanism directly from the top, where the unit attaches to the faucet. To this mean, you will have to 1) Detach the unit from the faucet. 2) Remove the filter. 3) Thoroughly wash the unit, inside and out, turning the knob to flush any debris that may be present. 4) Pour some drops of vegetable oil inside the mounting opening, coating the valve stem within. (Oil may pass thru the unfiltered water outlet, so choose an appropriate working space). 5) Turn the water handle (knob) to lube the valve repeatedly, until it loosens. 5.b) Optionally, you could let the oil sit for some time inside the base. 6) Rinse the unit and reinstall it on faucet (without the filter). 7) Turn knob to unfiltered position, and flush with warm/hot water. 8) Do likewise with knob set to filtered, but open faucet only slightly, to avoid over-spraying. 9) Remove base unit from faucet and repeat steps 3-9, as needed. 10) Reinstall unit with filter, as instructed by manual.Water valves may seize due to mineral deposits. While you may be tempted to use detergents or solvents, be reminded that unless thoroughly rinsed, chemicals may corrode plastics, degrade your filter, or even wind up in your drinking water, so caveat.

I have double cylinder fecility

As far as I can see it, if you want to use your cylinder gas then you will have to collect it yourself if there is no company in your area that sells LPG. To use pipes gas you will have to change the burner mixture setting on your cooker otherwise is may not burn properly.
Stupid rules I know.

I am getting an F7

It means the keypad detects an electrical short. It's the equivalent of holding your finger to a number button for more than 40 seconds. It will cause an error. You have to remove/clean/repair whatever is causing the short. Try cleaning the front keypad with isopropyl alcohol. If it doesn't work, remove the front panel with a 1/4" socket wrench and T15 torx screw driver. Remove the LED/clock board with philips driver. Then clean the entire back of the keypad panel with ispropyl alcohol. Allow the alcohol to dry completely or use a hair dryer to dry the alcohol completely before plugging in stove again. I did this with my stove and it fixed the problem.

Panasonic microwave start button

You may have a sticky door switch. Try a simple "slamming" of the door, don't over do it, just a little harder than normal. This may help pop the plunger in the switch back up. The switch could have also become loose and moved out of its adjustment.
If this does not help, a technician should save you time and money with this sometimes perplexing problem.

Interior bulb replacement

there is 2000volts inside on the this oven, and very lethal. to the maggy, (magnetron slang) the lamp is not inside any oven (cooking chamber_) because the 1000watts of RF uWAVE energy will cause the lamp to explode.!!! so due to this fact of pure physics.... so it is deep behind a grill of holes seen there) that means fully case shell removed. and now the 2000vdc lurks there in that huge nasty capacitor even unplugged from the wall.. very lethal until the tech discharges it first, using tools, (I have HV chicken stick tool in my kit) so the answer is take it to a shop. and repeated here vast times.
