How do i transfer photos from sd card to camera on
Hello,
1.Remove your SD card from the camera.
2.Insert it to your laptop card hole
3.If a window opens opens automatically then just drag and drop your photos to where you can find easily.
4.If a window does not open then click to My Computer
5. Find your SD card there.
6. Do the instruction number 3.
That is all.

Hitachi digital camera HDC1051E lense stuck in the
try putting in new batteries, if you havent all ready, if that still did not work its most likly to be the lens drive motor packed up on you,
the only other thing i can think of is to pull the frunt doors open to switch the camera on,, it could have a wonky switch
the problem with cameras today is to get them fixed cost so much its often better to just buy a newer one, and up-grade it at the same time
My camera will come on but the lense want come on
Without knowing the specific model, I'm going to suggest a few things here...There is a possibility that the lens has dirt in the mechanism causing a jammed condition--have you been to the beach with it recently?Any type of impact--front or side, can jam the precision movement. Most likely, the lens is jammed and when the camera senses this(using tiny contacts internally), it automatically shuts down to prevent damage. Send the camera to the *manufacturer* service facility--not a store. The reason being the store will usually add half the repair cost to the quote *you* see--NOT the actual quote from the repair facility.---Hope I helped you!---Rick
p.s. Is the camera under warranty? Impact or dirt is *not* covered

Hi there,
Looks like you have already tried swapping cameras and cables. If you have individual monitor, have you tried swapping as well? Also, if you are connected to an image DSP or junction box, please try to change other slot of the camera that has fading image.

Camera Wont turn on
It really could be the batteries. You may want to buy a very good pair of high power Duracell or Energisers first just to make sure that the problem is not with the camera.
I bought my mother this HDC-1061E camera and it was fine for not very long until it seemed the batteries that came in the camera box ran out. A short time. And I offerred a new pair of batteries I found lying around, they were cheap batteries I would use for something not requiring much power. And they brought the camera on but it went off within a second or two each time.
Though then I recalled an 8.2 mexapixel camera I bought for myself last year made by Kodak, and I found that some cheap batteries would not even turn that camera on. And expensive duracells didn't actually last long at all.
What's the solution? Buy a couple of 4 packs of NiMh (2700, no less) batteries (UniRoss is a good buy for this, around £9.99 a 4 pack in Amazon), and a recharger separately. If you're thinking about the environment you should think about a solar recharger though that will recharge a good amount slower than recharging from the mains (there are some more expensive units, if you look around, that offer solar and mains recharging).
I suggest two 4 packs so you have the batteries you are using, another set to exchange for a long day out (maybe not so long in fact, these cameras eat batteries so quickly), a further pair of emergency batteries, and then a pair kept always at hand at home if you need to load fresh batteries at any time. Recharge as soon as used.
A cheapish mains recharger won't cost more or much more than £13 to £20 and may esaily be a few pounds less. Solar rechargers are available in this bracket too, usually a little more expensive than mains ones. If you buy the battery I have specified this should work fine.
LCD monitor switches on but lens fails to open and
sry this is not a solution but i had the exact same problem with my fujifilm finepix a900 and all of a sudden about a year later mine worked again. i would remove any mem stick/ cards u have in the camera and try with a different set of batteries, u may possibly have to update or reinstall the firmware on your camera and if none odf these thing word i can only offer u my puzzleing solution leave the camera lying arroun without batteries for a prolonged period of time month at least and try to turn it on i have no explanation as to why it worked for me but it did
