Why does router start then stop

They can do that if they overheat. Is the router hot? If there was a power spike or brownout, the router could have been damaged. Do you have a surge protection system?

How to connect a SATA2 HDD to a SATA1 motherboard?

It should work. If not, there are jumpers on some drives. Not a DIY task because it requires unusual skills. Does not always work in any case.

Hitachi

open the case , take out the drive , attache it to a computer internally ,youll need a cable or borrow you cd's cable, turn drive on in the bios to see drive ,save , boot an let windows load it , now does it come up as a drive letter an can you scan fix it . right clik that letter , properties , scan an fix. now thats assuming the drives have windows compatible sectoring an software that formatted it for your data to hold on it. if you get an error before you get into windows then the drive has likely died in one of many ways.

How to open a 2.5 hdd pcb?

This is a bad idea since the cases of hard drives are sealed in a clean room. This is to avoid contamination and thereby to avoid crashes. My advise.....DON"T DO IT.

How to fix the cyclic redundnacy check error on my external back up hard drive

Formatting will erase everything on that drive. If you can accept loosing that, do the format and see if it works. If it does not fix it, you need a data recovery expert. Few computer professionals can do that kind of work.

Check that the power cable is good, and the data cable. If they are good, your drive died and needs to be replaced.

How do i view the backup from my previous computer ? i can see the photos from my iphone and one pdf file, the files from the computer are "protected"

Eortiz, did you try to read the files with a windows PC? Because when you connect the external drive to a PC you should be able to view the files and even be able to change the attributes like read only and hidden.

Hitachi 500 GB Sata Hard disk device driver

You just connect it up, and boot from your system disk, and your computer will install the necessary software for you. You must be connected to the internet and this must not be your system disk (unless you are booting from CD or an eternal device) 30.April.2014

Hitachi Hard drive DK23EB not readable -please help

Have you put the hdd from the laptop into slave mode, its on the back of the hdd, there might be a "jumper" that you need to reposition, failing that only insert the 1 hdd from the laptop and make it the only hdd, it should have an operating system on to run as normal. You can see the <jumper> on the right of this picture, you will need to connect both teminals (slave) with a little plastic jumper. 954a5143-0dc0-47a3-bc74-82eb8811294f.jpg

Hitachi external usb hard disk cant connect to pc

Personally, I think you really lucked out that it worked after being dropped. Then to be able to use it for two (2) more years is very exceptional for Hitachi drives. If you can hold the drive in your hand while "trying" to boot up....you "might" be able to gently rock the drive (face/label up) side-to-side and get the PC to recognise & maybe even read it. Have a flash/thumb drive ready "if" you succeed in seeing and reading any data on this - chances are you'll only get this 1 last chance to get your info. Good Luck.
