What is error code no.2881?
Hi.
First
of all make sure the dvd in in the right way...the side that does not have
writting ( ie: the discs i have have a purple side, that is the side that gets
burned) that faces to the inside of the camera.
If first one doesnt work
then you need to change the file format from mpeg to dvd - download AVSvideo
convertor and this will change your camcorder film to a format that will burn
onto a dvd disc.
Hope this will solve your problem.
Thanks and have a nice day.

I have hitachi dz-mv780e
There is a faulty loading setting in the mechanism and so when the power is switched the motor moves to eject and do not come to the PARK/REST position.
So you will need to open the camcorder to reset the mechanism. check inside of the tray for any objects that have fallen into and blocked the drives. Keeping the door open tap on the body to release any objects.

I have a hitachi camcorder
Built in microphones for camcorders are notoriously bad at capturing sound well. There are 3 main things you can do to improve the volume levels:
- "Zoom" by moving closer to your subject when possible. The closer you are the better the volume will be.
- If you can control the environment you are recording in, try to minimize the background noise.
- Most camcorders have a microphone / audio in feed. If so, using a plug in microphone should also improve quality (assuming you get a decent microphone).
It would probably be worth your time to check the camera's menu to make sure there isn't a microphone boost option. They generally increase the background noise a lot too, but if its there it should help.

I am trying to upload
drivers can be found here:

About halfway down the page look for "USB DZMV5.exe
I am not tech-savvy, so
Most cards usually need to be pushed in before they pop back out again. Try pushing it in then letting the spring make it come out a little bit. Otherwise you might of forced it in the wrong way and then you would need a thin knife like tool to pry it out. But if the camera recognizes the card then you put it in the right way.
Hope it Helps!

Error code 2881
Hi,
Found error in image file, Error Occurred,
error 0901, 572, 2881
The camera says found error in image file,
repair data now. When you press yes it says "Error
occurred. Please replace disc." or use ac
adapter/charger, turn off power. It won't let
you go to Disc Navigation to finalize it. While
recording video on DVD-R media the battery power
may have failed and camera shut off. When turned
on the message shown on the lcd is Found error
in image file, Error Occurred, error 0901.
Regards.

Trying to transfer video to my computer (iMovie
S-Video does not have sound, you will need to run separate audio cables to your sound cards input ports. S-Video is only for the video signal (Chroma and Luminance), there is no provision for sound.

Camcorder when recording displays, hard
Possible that you will need to format off the hard disc and clean off all the files present. The camcorder seems to hang up as there is some errors occurs on the hard disc. If this wont solve it is possible that some sectors in the hard disc can be faulty.
