Ditto can I get or download pc software for the Dz-hs3ooA video camera/recorder from somewhere?

I bought this cam few years back. my husband hasnt used since, the disc catch wont shut probly. And he wont Used it . Im Not happy with the cam and husband :(

Your best bet is to use the drivers from the CD. To do this on windows 7, you'll need to use compatibility mode.Browse to the contents of the cd in windows explorer. Right click on the driver installer file, and select "properties". Select the "compatibility" tab from the properties window, and select "windows xp sp3" from the drop down menu. Also tick the "run as administrator" on the bottom. I did this with my own hitachi DZ_MV350A and it worked just fine.

SD cards should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.
