The defect is hardware: either the scanning glass is dirty and the scanner will have to be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned or the signal from the optical sensor is corrupted . This happens when either the data cable that joins the sensor to the mainboard is incorrectly plugged in or damaged (it must be refitted or replaced) or the sensor itself is defective.
If it's the latter then the scanner is effectively dead -the cost for the replacement sensor is almost as much as a new unit. Time for a new one.

Hello, May i know the printer/ copier model number to assist you better ? The general rule is, If your printer is a Color printer, then it should have a button/option for COLOR copy. If it does not have a button/option for Color that means it prints only in black.

We had a persistant Error 59.70 with an HP m452DN printer, which kept up after power cycling the device. Since it's an error with the black toner developer motor, I pulled the black toner, powered up the printer, and manually checked the drum on the toner for seizure. Rotated the drum by the knob on the side to free it up, and then reinserted and printed a cleaning page. Printer works fine now.

did you replace orginal HP cartridge? if you are change refill or any other kind of manufature cartridge , there is chip is not working properly, that's why ligh is blinking, use orginal HP toner or good quality brand

This printer has no carousel alignment. The toners do not fit into a carousel. This printer has an imaging drum and print cartridges black, cyan. yellow and magenta. Please be more specific about what you are trying to do or what the printer is doing or not doing.

In Diagnoses mode EEPROM reset has to do for resetting, Entering the Diagnostics Menu 1. Make sure the product is switched off with the Power key on the side of the Touch Screen Panel, and not with the power switch on the back of the product. 2. Press and release the Power key to switch on the product. 3. Wait for about 10 seconds until the 6 buttons on the Touch Control Panel have come on and then press and release one after another Cancel> Home> Help buttons. 4. The 6 buttons on the Touch Control Panel will then blink 4 times; then wait until the product completes the initialization sequence and shows the Diagnostics menu. 5. In the Diagnostics menu scroll to EEPROM reset.. But we strongly recommends that useres are not suppose to do this activities, printer may disturbed all the way...

Did you have the printer powered off before you installed the belt? If not the fuse has blown and the message will be on until you replace the belt again.

This sounds to be a sensor issue. Try:Reconnect the connector (J708) of the 24V interlock switch and the connector(J121X) on the DC controller PCA.Also, try to check the sensor flag of the right door. If it is damaged,replace the right door sensor unit.The sensor worked for me.
