My Hamilton Beach slow cooker stopped going to keep warm after time was up, model 33966C

If your Hamilton Beach slow cooker model 33966C is no longer switching to the "keep warm" setting after the cook time is up, there could be a few possible causes:
  1. The thermostat may be malfunctioning. The thermostat controls the temperature of the slow cooker and if it's not working correctly, it could prevent the slow cooker from switching to the "keep warm" setting.
  2. The timer may be malfunctioning. The timer controls the cook time and if it's not working correctly, it could prevent the slow cooker from switching to the "keep warm" setting after the cook time is up.
  3. The heating element may be malfunctioning. If the heating element is not working properly, the slow cooker may not be able to maintain the correct temperature to switch to the "keep warm" setting.
  4. The lid may not be properly sealed. If the lid is not properly sealed, heat may be escaping and the slow cooker may not be able to maintain the correct temperature to switch to the "keep warm" setting.
It is recommended to try to unplug the slow cooker for a few minutes and then plug it back in to see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, it may be best to contact Hamilton Beach customer service for further assistance or to have the slow cooker repaired or replaced.

Some of the lights on the digital display for a Hamilton Beach model 33963 aren't working. How would you fix this issue?

Replace the disply. Probably means replace the whole machine unfortunately.

Should the lid be a tight fit or loose

Most crock pots are made of porous ceramic and is relatively brittle. It is glazed on all sides (except the bottom usually), to make it hold liquids without absorption. The lids, usually glass or thermoplastic, sit of top, but do not usually fit tightly as this could crack the crock. Also, it is not a pressure cooker, so you want excess steam to vent. The lid just keeps the heat inside and allows condensation to drip back into the crock, reducing the speed at which the fluids cook off, thus the term slow cooker.

SEL KEEPS FLASHING ON MY HAMILTON BEACH SLOW COOKER, NOT ABLE TO PROGRAM ANYTHING AS ALL GREEN LIGHTS ARE ON AND FLASHING. WILL ONLY SHUT OFF IF UNPLUGGED. IS THERE A TRICK TO RESET THIS?

I had the same issue. I plugged and unplugged the cooker any number of times and pushed every button. Display only showed SEl X. Hoping for a reset, I left the cooker plugged in overnight. It did reset itself and is working perfectly now. The program buttons work, and it heats up immediately. There is no practical explanation or logical steps. I hate throwing things away. Never give up!

Is it safe to use Crockpot Slow Cooker Hamilton Beach Proctor Silex model 33650? The exterior aluminum seems too hot. I purchased it at the Thrifty. I want to make sure if it is normal; has it recalled to the manufacturer? Thanks

no recalls on that model. There is a heating element is the base, so the exterior can get pretty hot. https://www.google.com/search?q=Proctor+Silex+model+33650+recalls ..

I can not get the

Try filling the crock with ice or ice-cold water - the reasoning is that the ice should cause the crock to shrink just enough to get it out. If that does not work, switch it on to heat he base; which should cause it to expand and when it is warm, pour cold water into the crock to shrink it

SLOW COOKER ELECTRONIC PANEL WON'T TURN ON WHEN PLUGGED IN

They don't have fuses they have thermal cutoffs. It would be located at the heater. You'll just have to try to take it apart to find it. Purchase a cutoff from any electronics supply shop in your area.

Plugged in wont go on. Fairly new. Maybe year old probably from bed bath and beyond. Help

Check for power at outlet. Then check for power at heating coil. If there and still not working the heating element is gone.

How do I get an instruction Manuel on the Hamilton Beach stow and go crock pot

Which model do you have? Some Hamilton Beach kitchen appliance manuals are available from their Use & Care support page: https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/use-and-care . Current model manuals will be in the support section of the product page. The slow cookers are listed here: https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/slow-cookers . The product page for the model 33262 Stay or Go 6-Qt. slow cooker is https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/stay-or-go-6-quart-slow-cooker-33262 . The manual for this model is http://useandcares.hamiltonbeach.com/files/840204902.pdf . I don't know of any models that are "Stow and Go". There is a "Wrap and Serve" model: https://www.hamiltonbeach.com/wrap-and-serve-6-quart-slow-cooker-33761 . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
