you can go and google to get the reason for the error code E5. You will need to put in the model# along with the brand.

Intermittent noise is usually a sign that it is not flat/ on an unstable floor. There should be a thermostat, perhaps it needs adjusting or perhaps it is faulty and should be replaced.

Sounds like the compressor is not working very well the clicking is the compressor starter trying to start the compressor. May be low on freon or bad compressor. You can probaly buy one cheaper than fixing this one

If it's at the side then that's ok because evaporator coils is at the back .try puttin duct tape or aluminum foil tape over it and see if it helps.
As long as you didn't puncture the refrigeration line you should be good

Get/buy an external thermometer for both the refer and freezer to double check your settings. Refer around 38 to 40 F and freezer usually around 0F

It's not condenser it is the compressor.
You may have a bad capicator or relay.
Try putting a HARD START KIT on the compressor and it should be fine

Replace the thermostat.
