Did you ever figure out the problem? Mine does the same thing. Just immediately drains and then nothing happens.

There should be a button on your remote that says "TV/USB". Try clicking it, that should take you to a blue screen that says No Signal, click Input, and you should be able to access your cable from the list of Input sources. This happened to me today, very annoying and unnecessarily confusing, especially since most buttons you press result in a screen that reads "Not Available." Urrgghhh.

You should enter its service mode menu to do that. Visit these sites by a desktop computer and type in the model number of your set at the search window at the right side of the site to reach it very fast. You can try unplugging the TV for a bit to see if that resets it. Next check if the TV was set to use external speakers by accident. Finally, try a factory reset. Please add a comment with the model of the Haier TV for directions for checking the audio output menu and factory reset. I hope this helps. Unplugging the TV solved the problem; the factory reset option in the TV menu didn't resolve the issue.)

This website has got to stop letting just anyone answer questions. All 3 of these answers were completely unrelated and not helpful for this person asking the question. They didn't even look up the model number to understand what type of unit this is. I realize it's a very old question, but I'm sure even today there are people giving ignorant answers just as these 3 did. ***back of unit, very bottom, there's a drain hose connection. It's supposed to have a rubber plug in it and a plastic cap screws on over that. Hose isn't necessary to drain, if draining is needed as this unit evaporates the water through the exhaust. But water will build up under certain circumstances. Periodically check and drain by 1. Sit unit on something to elevate it high enough to put a container underneath to catch water. Make sure to sit unit on something very sturdy or take it outside and let it drain out on the ground, it's just water. 2. Remove cap and rubber plug. Water will drain. 3. Replace cap and plug when water stops draining, that is all.

Most air conditioners need water removed, not added. They act as dehumidifiers as they change the air temperature. What model air conditioner do you have? The Haier HPRD12XH5 has a blinking red LED with a triangle symbol to indicate the unit is flooded. Air conditioners can also fail if there is a coolant leak or the room is too cool. If the removed water freezes in the air conditioner, it can damage the fan and cause the motor to overheat. The air cooling systems that need water added are "swamp coolers". That's the term I learned for the old-fashioned fan + ice/water cooling systems that work well in low-humidity environments. They'll make the area feel hotter in high humidity conditions. Window units do not come with service ports. You can buy them at local parts houses, but unless you have the freon, not gonna do you any good. Window ac use either r22 our 410a, and that cannot be bout without being certified.

IT may be the temperature sensor and it has a capillary tube characteristic and causes the unit to click on and off when it needs to.. Dont mess with it. No moving it or kinks will cause it to not work correctly.

Hi I got the E6 error at the end of cycle and inside it was exceptionally hot and dry, no leak under DW, I put breaker off and error was persistent, it finally disappeared after a moment, I guess after temperature went down. If it happens again I'll update the topic.
