Unfortunately meat slicers in this price range are throw away items if they break. Neither Gourmet Living or Shopko actually make this slicer so it is nearly impossible to find parts for. It is probably made in China. I would suggest you spend a little more money (90.00) and get something like Nesco FS-140r. It has a one year warranty and you can buy parts for it thru Nesco.
