Hi, this depends heavily on your Wifi network speed, try with a lower resolution/quality show, and see if you get the same effect. Keep in mind that your wifi network's bandwidth is a bit low for full HD quality. You can also try to limit all other activity on your network by turning off the wifi connection on other mobile devices that is connected to your network.

Hi, I have seen this as well, but doing a few things can solve this.

• Turn your TV and power to Chromecast on and off.
• Reboot your Wifi router and try again.

On the second point, sometimes the wifi router has seen to many wireless devices and need to release all 'cached' devices.

1. Connecting and powering the Chromecast, then configuring it to work with your Wifi network.
2. Installing the App on your Android phone or Chrome browser.

If it is suppose to connect with wifi then make sure in settings that your wifi is on in our tablet. Or if it is suppose to connect with blue tooth then make sure your blue tooth is on in your tablet.

Hi there, keep in mind that the Chromecast audio will be delivered through the TV itself, so it does not matter what DVD or audio equipment you are using, so make sure that your TV's audio is turned up. If you do want to route the audio through you amp, you will need to use the TV's audio out and feed that to your AV receiver to play through your big speakers. The password for the router should be on the setup guide/instructions that came with the router.

Is the modem/router from your Internet provider wireless or not ? Or it may be, but you use it in wired mode. Find out by calling their technical support. If it is not, exchange it for a wireless one from them. Should be free of charge. Hope this helps.

Load the chromecast app on your phone first. You need to run it to get the device to connect with your network. Run the app. You will get a code on the screen of the TV. The app will ask if the code it is showing matches the one on the TV. Once this is done you can now select the little box (chromecast icon) and then pick your device.

Hi Peter, not sure what you are trying to do here but the ChromeCast dongle needs to plug into an HDMI port on your TV. It has a microUSB port only for power. On some routers, there are USB ports for 3G dongles for wireless broadband, or media storage for DLNA or media sharing on your local network. If you are trying to get eg. Netflix comes through your wireless router. Network loading affects speed and buffering. Look to increasing your network download speed so the buffering issue will be reduced or eliminated.

If your TV is newer, then it should plug into a USB port on the TV. If you aren't sure contact google for help.

If you have the internet on an ipad you must have a home network of some type, if you have a home network hooked up to the internet, the chrome cast device should work. You would set it up similarity to the original ipad network setup

I have had the same problem, sadly there is no fix. The reason is that most hotels internet redirect you to a login web page in order to input the code they give you to access the internet. You will notice this if you log into the hotels system using a laptop/ipad etc. Even though you can actually see the hotels network, on the chrome cast/streaming device and login to it, you can't get past the gateway they have to the internet. I ended up using the USB port on the streamer i had with me to watch shows from a hard drive, in the hotel i was at. Sorry i didnt have good news. Only way to get on in a hotel, would be if they had their network wide open.
