My golfbuddy wt5 no longer locates golf courses. Only appears to continue searching. What do I do?
Try connecting to PC and run chkdsk on those files. If found corrupt, run chkdsk/f using command prompt and "fix" files enough to be recognized by GB3 manager. If you can sync to the manager program, you can reload or update the firmware and all the course information. Once the files are good, it should be able to lock satellites to a course loaded on the WT5.After all that and it still won't lock-in golf course. Had to save all files (except for Subsys folder) and reformat watch (fast format). Then I copied saved files back onto watch. I then connected to G3 manager and reloaded all course info. (checking all countries and selecting "overwrite". Now it will see courses and fixed my problem.
