Goldstar Dehumidifiers - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
Printed Circuit Board
Normaly they sell the complete circuit board for these units. If you have a part that is blown out, it is very probable that there are other parts that are damaged as well.
During warranty, they do not normaly fix these boards. They replace the board with a new one.
I would be looking at replacing the complete board. What will most likely happen and I have seen it often, is in this type of case, when a blown part is replaced, it blows again, because the parts that caused the failure must be also changed. I don't think you have the necessary tools, training, and design information about the circuit board to troubleshoot it properly to know the condition of all the other parts involved.
Sometimes there boards are rather expensive. You may find it more feasible to buy a new unit.

Leaks water
The water may be condensation dripping in an area where the catch components are not able to catch it. The largest line that exits the cold coil and ends at the compressor should be insulated without any tubing showing all the way back to the compressor, deficits in the insulation (even small ones) could cause condensation to form and drip.
Is a gold star dehumidifier supose to be noise
I can't hear YOUR dehumidifier and can't tell if it's out of the ordinary, but dehumidifiers have all the same internal parts as a refrigerator with the addition of a fan to blow air through the coils to keep them from freezing up. They do tend to be a bit noisy.

Charge the compressor
unplug and wait a few minutes then reconnect to power to clear buttons not working , then ck filter to see that its not clogged use a flashlight to view inside to see if a heavy coating of dust exists iniside case , if so you might be able to save it if you unplug and remove case to access inside and clean out with vacuume hose coils are most important to get clean

Stopped working
Does it act the same as if the bucket was removed? Likely your fill bucket switch is not connecting. Remove the bucket, press the switch and try to run the unit. If it powers up and "works" then you need to make sure the bucket has a good connection with the switch. If this did not work, remove the connectors to the switch and electrical tape them together and try running this again. If it works, your switch is bad. Replace. If you leave it electrical tape connected, the unit will not turn off when the bucket is full.

Sensor how can I tell if the sensor needs replaced
You'll have to remove the sensor with wires attached. When sensor is warm you will have continuity (need a circuit tester of some type). Put the sensor in your freezer for about 15 minutes. The relay in the sensor should open and there will be no continuity. If there is continuity after removing from freezer, sensor is defective.
The dehumidifier runs and collects water. The
My only guess is that there must be a relay inside the control panel that (like many relays) arced ar one time and partially welded itself in the on position. Good quality relays are plated with a high temperature melting point metal to prevent this. Being LG is Goldstar (a Korean company) they most likely use the cheapest relays. To solve this issue the relay needs a hard knock to it. (Don't hit it so hard as to break the circuit-board) :)

My dehumidifier runs but no water will collect in
Mine had the same problem: ran, sounded great, no water. Feel the coils. Mine never cooled down - stayed at room temp. No refridgerant left in the coils. It's a gas and can leak out. Expensive to recharge. Get a new one.
Capacitor blew up
TURN POWER OFF AND REMOVE THE PLUG FROM SOCKET rewier this part and replace capacitor
