Keeps tripping the breaker
What size breaker?
as long as there are no other appliances or anything on the circuit a 15 amp breaker will do...if you have alot of other items on that same circuit you either need a larger breaker, or use a different circuit all together Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

When making waffle cones, some come out too soft
Are you certain you are cooking your waffles long enough? If they are not completely baked they will not harden. Additionally if you are in a humid climate they may take a bit longer when you cook them otherwise the moisture will cause them to stay soft.

Electric heat thermostat wire melted
The cause is a loose wire nut which creates arcing. This is a very common problem and the cause of many fires -- it's a result of low quality work.

School concession popcorn machine
There are many ways that this could have caused your problem! Too much popcorn kernels put into bucket!....somthing in the bucket that is causing it too stick! (I would never put salt or any other seasoning in the maker untill popcorn has dropped) anso the heat from the maker itself can cause warping of the metal parts inside over time! I cant tell you what parts to order because i dont know the model number,But If you have all the pats somone of little skill should be able to fix it for you by bending it back into place and putting it back together and trying it! If not come back with the model # and we can help with the parts!

THANK YOU!
Trips circuit when you turn on the Kettle heat
When the fuse blows see what else in the house is out, maybe you have the circuit overloaded. Try putting the popcorn maker on a different unused curcuit to see if it still blows. Then you will know if it is the popcorn maker.

Wiring
Hi kevin,
With the ground already hooked up, it does not matter which terminal you hook the X or Y too on the heater. The heater is AC and a resistive load. This means it doesnot have polarity, and will work both ways. You done good getting high temp connectors, do you have high temp wire?
