Seems to be an Australian machine? Most washing machines, you have to do rinse and spin. The manual isn't jumping off the page at me, but it might work better for you down under. https://www.google.com/search?q=ignis+im602+manual ..

Hoses are connected correctly. Only hot water. Turned hot water valve off and hot water still ran instead of cold. HELP

Backflow from convection and from expansion of water in the hot water tank is pushing heated hot water backwards, into the cold water supply line, wasting that heat. Install a backflow preventer. A quick test for that issue is to partially throttle the water entering the heater, but do not reduce it to a trickle, let the tank overheat and be damaged! If water in the outside tap is now noticeably cooler, backflow is at least one culprit. Reopen the heater valve after testing!~

Tecno front load washing machine model : TN-312 E01 Error Code problem

Ttypically indicates a problem with the water supply. Troubleshooting: Clogged Inlet Valve: The inlet valve controls the water flow into the machine. If it becomes clogged, the machine won't fill with water, resulting in the E1 error. To address this: Turn off the washer and unplug it. Remove any debris blocking the inlet valve. Brush it with distilled white vinegar. Reattach the water valves and turn on the power to the washer. If the issue persists, consider replacing the inlet valve. Failed Inlet Valve: If the inlet valve has failed, it needs replacement. Check for water leaks to identify a failed inlet valve. Pressure Switch Hose: A damaged or clogged pressure switch hose can also trigger the E1 error. Follow instructions to clean the pressure switch hose. Water Level Sensor: The water level sensor detects water levels in the machine. If it's malfunctioning, the E1 error may appear. Test the sensor using a multimeter after unplugging the machine and removing the control panel. Note the divergent possibilities below. Because of this, you may have to seek professional assistance. https://theportablelaundry.com/how-to-fix-the-e1-error-on-washing-machine/ Understanding E01 Error: What Does E01 Mean on a Washing Machine? - Washing Machine Blog

My washer is doing the same. It will not agitate or spin. The door switch and fuse link are okay but no power on red/white wire.

Your washer is doing the same as what? No context. Click EDIT on your post and remove "My washer is doing the same." Replace with 'make model washing machine'. At this point no one knows what the red/white wire goes to? If it goes from the control board to the motor controller, it would suggest the board has failed. They are expensive, so I always recommend professional diagnosis so you get warranty on the part and the repair. If the motor was humming, not clicking, it would suggest the start/run capacitor need replacing. 'Clicking', sounds like it is a motor controller.

I have a Kleenmaid / Speed Queen KAW393. Normal cycle won't work. Other two cycles work.

The Manual is dated June 1996, so I am guessing your machine is past the 5 year warranty period? https://kleenmaid.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/KAW393_38430_june96.pdf I would say your husband's diagnosis is sound. Ask him to check the wiring tag connections to the timer first. They may be oxidized. It is a mechanical timer driven by an electric motor with internal contacts, so he could even try spraying some switch cleaner into the timer and rotating it a few times. The 'Normal' cycles are the ones you use the most, so the contacts get worn more. There is absolutely no way I would pay $600 for a timer on an old top loader like that even $AUS to $USD is $400. They are virtual dinosaurs in these days of high efficiency front loaders. Just as big, use less water, less detergent and a fraction of the cost to heat and run. I have a Whirlpool Duet front load washer and dryer matching pair. They are about 16 years old, love them.

The 19 kg washer has a start light flashing but does not do wash after the current went and returned

It seems like your washing machine is experiencing a common issue after a power outage. This could be due to a disruption in the machine's cycle. To resolve this, try the following steps:
  1. Reset the Machine:
    • Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for a few minutes (around 5-10 minutes).
    • Plug the machine back in and turn it on.
  2. Check Door Lock:
    • Ensure that the door is securely closed and the lock is engaged.
  3. Restart the Cycle:
    • Select the desired wash cycle and press the start button.
If the issue persists, it might be helpful to consult your machine's manual for specific troubleshooting steps. Additionally, power fluctuations during the outage might have affected the machine's electronics. If the problem continues, consider contacting the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. Remember, power interruptions can sometimes cause electronic appliances to behave unexpectedly, and a simple reset often resolves such issues.
