Open the expansion filler cap when engine cold, set temperature for heating to hot! Start engine and let the car run until operating temperature reached and watch water in expansion bottle for air bubbles being expelled!

These are hydraulic valves and should not need adjustment??

Get the part from a dealer instead of an auto parts store. That way you won't need to jury rig the connectors. Follow the wire to the end and disconnect the bolt that connects it. On the smaller diameter wire, do the same.

Is the screw turning into a nut? If so, is the nut turning while you're tightening the screw? If so, hold the nut with a wrench. If there is no receiving nut, then most likely the screw thread in the terminal is stripped. If so, you'll need to replace the negative cable. Your local auto parts store should carry a replacement, and most stores will advise you on how to change it.

Should have hydraulic lifters but the rockers wear on them,check for wear.

Could be a number of things including a simple stuck e-brake or something more serious such as a transmission or differential issue. Whith these newer vehicles, often time it is an electronic issue. Your will need to have it towed to your local repair shop for proper diagnosis.

some newer cars require a special anti freeze that protect the rad and engine because of the material = metal that they are made from like aluminum and last a lot longer than the regular green anti freeze for protection

I would remove housing and lay it on sandpaper over a flat surface and lightly sand down. You will be able to see where housing is warped, if at all. If its warped too bad I would replace, if its not I would replace seal and thermostat. Use a little RTV silicone around both sides of gasket as well. This should eliminate your leak. Good luck! Check the thermostat, they will stick closed and cause overheating. or replace the switch for the fans.
