P0740- Torq Conv Clutch Circ MalFunc , This is in the transmission and as long as the shifter is aligned with the neutral position on the column it should not cause the van not to start. It probably with not allow the transmission to shift or allow the van to move but it should start and run. Hope this helps, good luck.

flashers are under dash at fuse panel.. round silver about an 1 across it just unplugs and plug in a new one. mike

I agree with answer #1. But with the milage aspect, I would recommend having the entire trans overhauled. Given time and wear and tear, seals inside the transmission that helps with the hydraulic actuations to help the trans perform its functions, start to leak internally therefore causing drivability issues like what you are experiencing. Sometimes performing a transmission flush may do more harm than good due to old seals being washed out. If you decide keeping the car for a while, it might be a good investment to completely overhaul transmission. Your LT1 5.7L V8 is a very strong and long lasting engine under correct maint. check the fuses, it may be the indicator stalk if none of your indicators function, they are usually on different circuits. In fact I think that is what it may be. If it is only one or two that are not working check the bulbs

any time you replace the battery on a remote you got about 30 seconds to do it or else you will loose memory on the remote,,, now try this get a new battery then get in front of your vehicle press the remote till you hear the shirr,, { before getting on front of vehicle manually lock the doors ] the in front try to open doors with pressing on the remote it may take 2 minutes keep pressing till you hear the doors unlock.... good lock

lift up the hood,pull off the little rubber hose.then set of long nose pliers fallow it up the to the top of the nozzle swiz in and lift it out at the top there is two small clips .so you are pushing them in.

Take it to a dealer and get a replacement tumbler fitted in the ignition lock. They will provide new keys and code them to your car.

If u r talking about the ones on the sun visor. They slide on or when you pull them down they should come on you may have to turn the interior switch , look on YouTube

There should some small button type covers over the screws pry them off with a small screwdriver take the screws out easy to do

it depends on if it is two way taped on or held with clips,two way tape takes a special heated razor knife tool.if it is clips there is a tool for that too you can get that tool from dealer or on line ,try ebay.you can call dealer and they will be able to tell you which kind you have,.hope this helps.

a automatic transmission has no clutch you do not need to engage a clutch to stop or go. .you step on brake and put it gear and go.hope this answers youre question.

If it is actually the engine running at 220 degrees, then yes that is a little high, but not actually overheated. The truth of the matter is that the guage is probably not 100% acurate and the actual engine temp is probably somewhere closer to 190-205... and if that is the case there is nothing wong.

those are ran on a cable system..when tangled up inside..its impossible to close ..with out taking it apart

Check where the speedo drive goes into the gearbox it could be the filler hole.

What do you mean by "short out"? Is the motor burned up? That'd be caused by too-hard work in a hostile environment. Is the wiring inside the door burned up? That'd be caused more than likely by a pinched wire. Is a connector loose or corroded? That'd be caused by rough vehicle usage, sloppy assembly, or a hostile environment. Before anyone can determine any cause, the exact failure needs to be determined.
