I keep getting the "wrong disc inserted error".
OK, so most Discs have a key hardcoded into the actual disc. when you do an ISO of the disc, the game won't play.
these are anti-piracy tactics. Playing games off and ISO is ******* in most places.

Almost all 32bit software does fine on a 64bit machine. But if not, try running the software in "compatibility mode" by right mouse button clicking on the icon for the software, selecting properties and the "compatibility" tab. Select something like XP SP3 and then see what happens.

To change it from a read only to a r/w you're going to have to open the document properties and go to security then add the "write" option to it.I hope this helps.

It doesn't seem to have been updated. Try finding an emulator of xp or use the compatibility program provided by windows 7. To use the compatibility program, right click the .exe form of the program. Go to properties, and then click on the compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Run this program for" and then open the list and select Windows XP.
