Optimum working temperature
As the cold weather approaches temperatures fall below zero.Any items left in the back of a van may be inoperable at this temperature!Preparation! The items you know your going to use could be stored in doors overnight (at the risk of forgetting them) or placed on the dash near the vehicles fan heater on your journey in the morning. This works for; Arc welding rods, paslode gas cartridges, glues, sealants etc.Ps. My apologies for the categorization of this tip, a lack of options on the pull down menus left me with irrelevant choices.
Hi,my bandsaw will not cut a straight line with or
Dave, this could be caused by a couple of things.
One, the blade tension may be too low.
Two, and in conjunction with #1, the blade guide on the left side of the blade may need to be brought closer to the blade ( but without actually touching).
Three, is thee any blade damage that could be pulling the blade to the left? Try another blade and see what results you get.
If you need help determining if one or more of these issues are the problem you're experiencing, or if you need help making the adjustments, you're welcome to send photos of your machine and I can walk you through it.

Honda gx340 valves
The piston, not flywheel, at 1/4" past TDC on power stroke. With feeler gauge @ .005" check gap between rocker arm & valve stem. Back off jamb nut then move adjuster to proper clearance, for slight drag of feeler gauge, then re-tighten jamb nut. May take a couple of tries to get it right on as tightening jamb nut will make slightly tighter on you.
Why my Makita disc cutter has spark wont start
If the fuel in it is 2 or more months old dump it out and put in fresh fuel and try statring. Also try try a squirt of starting fluid into the carb. If it fires on it you may need to do this a few times to pull the old fuel in the lines through till the fresh fuel can get to the carb.
