My kb5500w gearhead keyboard is not working
Here is your Answer:
- When replacing the batteries of your Gearhead keyboard do the following to re-sync the keyboard to the 2.4ghz reciever.
1) On your keyboard, There should be a key that has the universal symbol for "Sync button" (Looks like two little arrows making a circle)
2) While adding the new batteries. make sure to press and hold this button.
This "un-syncing" of the keyboard and reciever is a common problem that I experience with my Gearhead wireless combo mouse and keyboard, therefore I have had ample opportunities to test this theory. And so far, my theory seems to be substantiated with a 100% success rate.
I tested it, and it worked everytime.
I think its important to state the following.
One, I am in no way faulting the company Gearhead for a bad product based on my individual experience.
I am actually quite pleased with its performance.
And if its just a matter of holding a key button down while adding batteries to make it sync that would dissuade a individual from purchasing this product, I'd have to say that a poor poor excuse for being lazy.
In addition to that preceeding statement, i would like to add that this problem may just be (unfortunately) an acceptable common occurence associated with the mass production process when attemptin to supply a global market place.

Hi, I have a Toshiba
Hi Cliff. I might have a USB dongle for this keyboard if you still need one? See photo attached. As far as I'm aware this still works - our keyboard packed up so we got a new one and just put this in a drawer! Let me know if this is any use to you. Kind regards Tanya

Head gear WC8500 HD 1080p webcam will not work with Adobe products
It should work with Adobe software. What product are you using that won't allow your device to utilize the program in question. Remember, Adobe software is not the initial application used to make the communication device operational. If you failed to install the original device drivers for the WC8500 then naturally you cannot get full occomodation.

The scroll wheel on my gear head mouse is too sensative
Usually Control Panel will let you adjust how many lines scroll per notch on the wheel. Open Control Panel, Mouse, Wheel tab and adjust there. With your mouse, it might have its own control program where you would make these adjustments.

Mouse won't scroll when rolling the middle button up and down
Mouse movement is controlled by either the device drivers (look for updates) or the settings. Check you operating system settings for the mouse and see if they are up-to-date. Other than that, is the device drivers and computer settings are correct, the mouse middle control is defective. Try to alternate with another mouse and see if that happens when using an alternate device. That is the test for a defective mouse.
