Control Lock / Child Lock issue. Taking longer to dry is because air flow is compromised. Press the temp and and time buttons and hold them for 3 seconds. This should reset the child lock and clear the code.Mar 27, 2019

usually 2 screws on each side bottom front, and possibly 2 in under dryer vent screen. front panel should drop off. for the top there should be 2 screws at the top on both sides just under the lid. you can slide belt off and pull drum out

210 to 300 is OK there may be a accuracy issue .measurement tool's.check damp sensor or thermo risistor.other then that you have a bad main board

The dryer safety thermostat is part 757 on the drum, blower and motor diagram. There are several other thermostats and temperature sensors in the dryer as well. I hope this helps. Gfdn240elww Power Button Repair1. Remove selector knob by pulling perpendicular to the panel. Mine was a bear to pull off but it came without causing any damage.2. Remove the screw under the selector knob. 3. Remove the screw at the back of the panel on top. Lift the panel straight up - it will release from the tabs and move. 4. Remove the electrical harness by gently lifting the tab. 5. Turn panel so that electrical boards are facing you. Remove the larger 6 screws that hold boards to the panel. This will expose the power button.6. I repaired my power button by first using Locktite Gel. Ensure button sits correctly in its hole by looking at the front of the panel. There should be an even amount of free space around the button. 7. Let the glue set for 15 or so minutes. I then drilled with the smallest drill bit I could find through the original tabs and screwed two very small screw into those holes. In my opinion, this is the way it should have been manufactured to begin with anyway. If you don't want to drill, the glue will hold for as long as no one jabs a finger through the button again.8. Re-install in reverse order - good luck.

Jeff, If your centrifugal switch is bad, more than likely you are going to need a new motor because those are built into the motor. The only other thing to check is to find out if you are actually getting power down to the motor. If you are, then motor problem, if not, then something else is bad that is not letting the current get to the motor. If you can find your wiring diagram, you should be able to find which wires deliver the current to the motor and you can back track to see where you lose the current. Hope this helps!

i don't know. hook up should have been by a qualified installer and properly inspected and tested. be very careful. your unit may be under warranty. please inquire about a free service call before using it again. dryers blow air to the outside so it vents to the outdoors whenever it is running. there may be a small leak and the odour cold be vented which would account for no odour. be safe and update your home's insurance.

The heating element is faulty , I don't know if parts are available,some times repairs are worth more than a new unit please check.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR MACHINE. I HAD TO TAKE THE FRONT PANEL, INCLUDING THE DOOR, TO INSPECT A DRYER BELT RECENTLY. IT SEEMED I COULD HAVE REPLACED A BELT IF I HAD TO. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU NEED A BELT OR IF YOURS NEEDS ADJUSTING AT BELT TENSIONER/ SAFETY SWITCH. YEARS AGO, I MANUALLY TURNED OUR OLDE DRYERS DRUM, THE WRONG WAY FROM INSIDE THE OPEN DOOR. THE DARN BELT CAME OFF THE TENSIONER. THIS MAY NOT BE A PROBLEM WITH CURRENT DRYERS.
