GE mini wireless (HO98763) mouse won't work - power light not on.
My advice is to return mouse to store and get a replacement, remember to take bill with you as proof of purchase. If the same fault happens again you could ask for money back. It is technically possible to ask for money back staright away as this rapid falure shows that the itme is "not fit for purpose". Hope this helps.

Against my better judgement, because crimping doesn't work half the time, here's the color code.
A 4-pair Cat-5e or 6 cable has BLUE, ORANGE, GREEN, and BROWN pairs. The ones with the most white are called Tip. In a 568B wiring scheme, they go 54361278.
or, like this
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
wo ow wg bw wb gw wbr brw
Data is actually carried on pins 1 2 3 and 6.
If you wire the other end of the cable the same way as above, it's called a straight through cable.
If you reverse the orange and green pairs, it's a crossover cable. This is also the pattern for 568A
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
wg gw wo bw wb ow wbr brw
Getting the wires to untwist and behave is half the fun, that's why we use special plugs when we absolutely have to crimp. Otherwise, we use a jack and patch cord.

I have a GE 99916 wireless mouse. When it's
To get this working again, I had to go through the Device Manager within the Control Panel > All Control Panel Items. If you right click on Mice and other pointing devices > HID-compliant mouse and then click on Properties, you will get a new window. Within that, you will need to go to the Driver tab, click "Uninstall", verify, and then re-insert the USB dongle at that point. This is what worked for me.
Dyk4500 how to fACTORY RESET
The PW or code to enter with the remote is 12888. You MUST have a remote, or the unit is worthless. The remote may not look exactly like how it appears in any manuals. My remote is the original and it was a stark difference in appearance, although having all the correct and needed buttons.
Code may not initially work, depending on how any configurations may have previously been setup. Try the following steps to reset configuration.
- Remove the 3 screws to open the unit up.
- Remove the CMOS button battery.
- Short the battery contacts for 30 seconds. (I also tested shorting the contacts while powering the unit on to see if that had an effect. It will not damage the unit, and it also reset the DVR, but I recommend only doing the power on method as a last resort.)
- Insert CMOS battery.
- Power unit on and wait for display to show firmare version and all HDD info. after about 30 seconds the cameras and locations should appear. If they do not, Press 'MENU' 2x times, and wait for the cameras and names to appear.
- Press 'MENU' on remote. When menu appears, press 'DOWN' 2x times to get to setup utility and press 'ENTER'
- You should see an "Admin" and "guest" accounts. "admin" should be already highlighted, but if it is not, use the directional buttons to highlight the "Admin" account and press 'ENTER'.
- Enter the code 12888 and press 'ENTER'.
- You should now have the Utility Menu to reset the unit, add new accounts. adjust network info, etc.
