If you have a Frigidaire refrigerator with an icemaker, you may notice that water leaks from the icemaker from time to time. There are several reasons why this occurs, ranging from simple fixes to ones that are more complex. Once you notice leaking water, running through a quick checklist determines the problem, so that you can fix it. Plastic Tubing Water Supply ConnectionsNo matter the type connection material used, it must be tight and secure so that no water leaks out. Check every place where a pipe connects to the appliance. Make sure the connection is tight and that there are no leaks. Ensure that the water supply valve is turned on completely. As you check each connection, watch that there are no drips. Tighten them if you catch any possible issue, as this could solve your problem.Clogged Condensation DrainWater can appear leaking from the icemaker when it is actually caused by a clogged condensation drain. The automatic defrost system occasionally turns on, melting any frost from the cooling coils. The resulting water falls into a drain sending it to a pan to evaporate. However, if ice from the icemaker makes it into this drain, it can clog it, and the water accumulates in either the fresh-food compartment or the bottom of the freezer in a side-by-side model. In a side-by-side with an icemaker, the water appears to be coming from the icemaker. Check the drain and clear it if there is a clog. Ice Maker ValveIn Frigidaire models with an icemaker, a valve regulates the amount of water in the icemaker. If this valve malfunctions, a leak can result. The valve directs the water into cube molds. When obstructed by mineral deposits, the water sprays out of the molds. The water drips down and pools at the bottom of the freezer and onto the floor outside of the unit. Cleaning out the screen located at the end of the valve solves this problem.

Did you disconnect and reconnect any of the electrical plugs? These are touchy and need to be tightly connected. Try some conductive lubricant on the connections, make sure they're as tight as possible. Wait 24 hrs then check for ice. Hope this fixes it.

There is minimal clearance but the drawers can be removed. Some judicious tugging and wiggling may be required.

Possible fix is to completely defrost the freezer. Take out all the food and put into coolers or wrap in blankets. Then you can speed up the defrosting by placing pots with boiling water in the freezer and close the doors to let the heat do it's job and rotate more hot water as it cools. This can take several hours to get a total meltdown inside and out. Some freezers have internal drain tubes that freeze up and they can take quite awhile to thaw. You may need some old towels to soak up any overflow on the ground. Once you feel everything is up to room temperature you can wipe down the inside with a mild bleach cloth to kill any old bacteria. Call someone. It's probably a solenoid playing up. I have taken the casing off and tapped the solenoid a few times and fixed them in the past but I wouldn't recommend it in case you make it worse! It was mine and wasn't too bothered if I skipped it

There is probably an object Some paper or mouse ( I have seen that one) coming into contact with the fan fins.

It's in the freezer compartment behind the cover.

On most models, Turning off the freezer turns off whole unit as all cold air comes from freezer

It will have to get below freezing before it works. The thermostat in the icemaker has to close to start the harvest cycle.

Damper could be stuck open allowing too much cold air into fridge section, or thermostat could be going bad.
