No power
I am having the same problem with mine. Had a burning smell when I used it and then no power. Was hoping it was just the main fuse, but it sounds like it could be something else. This microwave only lasted two months out of warranty. A $500 major purchase mistake! :-(
I have microwave model fmv156dcg.

If you have a smoker in the house, the display may be coated with tar from the smoke. Spray some window cleaner on a soft cloth or paper towel, and gently wipe off the display face (do not scrub; it scratches easily).
The power supply capacitor on the controller board may be going bad. Unplug the oven, remove the top/side cover, and inspect the electrolytic capacitors. The tops should be flat; if any are domed or obviously leaking, they should be replaced (note: sometimes the top of the capacitor has a thin plastic disc covering it; doming of the disc is normal). See the photo below to identify good and bad electrolytic capacitors. This photo is from a TV or computer power supply and your controller will not look this. You're looking for components like bad ones marked in the photo or the good ones next to it. If you see a bad capacitor, post a comment with the capacitance (e. g., 2200 uF) and voltage rating, and I'll recommend a part number that I know will be a good replacement. The cost is usually under $2 plus shipping from whatever supplier you choose.
It is possible that the display itself is going bad, but this is not very common.
