Push buttons will not work to turn stove on or off
If this has an electronic panel with all the controls they can go bad much more often than the old mechanical ones, ungortunatly you have to buy the whole control panel and replace it when they go bad.

My grandparents oven caught on fire and fried the
We selected this oven element based on the shape shown and the dimensions given in its .com description. It works perfectly. The oven is a built in so, as you can imagine, I was not anxious to replace it. This element was not advertised as a self cleaning oven element, but it did self clean our oven as well as the original element did. My wife and I are very pleased with this purchase.

I have a Frigidaire electric range with four
First, I'm not a Frigidaire tech. I have worked on electrical stoves. BUT since there are High voltage and High current used in stoves I strongly recommend you have a qualified tech service your equipment.
*** The following is for information only ***
* Looking at your elements, it's not the plug in style seen on old 1960's ranges. (yeah, I'm old) The later models use special plugs and newer units are dedicated elements specific to the brand. Replacements, (if found) must be exact. I found this link:

* Again, check your warranty and call for service.
* Replacing your element(s) may be only part of the problem. I've found bad wires, shorted wires, burnt terminals, cracked connectors, and the most common is rusted out parts. You will need to replace everything that looks remotely bad as they will fail when powered up again. But at this level of damage, it may be better to replace the stove.

I have a Frigidaire stove showing a default code f31
The F31 error code indicates a shorted oven temperature sensor probe or a shorted sensor circuit. The normal troubleshooting for this type of failure involves unplugging the range and checking the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe using a volt/ohm meter. The normal resistance of this probe at room temperature is about 1100 ohms. If the sensor measures less than 500 ohms, it will need to be replaced. If the sensor appears to be okay, you can check the wiring (with the range still unplugged) between the probe and the ERC (Electronic Range Control board). A wiring failure could also cause this problem. NOTE: You should only access and check internal range components if you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely perform the process. Internal metal edges in the range can be sharp. Protective gloves are recommended.
If you are not able to find a problem with the probe or the wiring, then you could have a failed electronic range control (ERC) board. Replacing the temperature probe may fix this problem if the wiring is okay. If you replace the probe and still have a problem, then it is likely that the ERC control board will need to be replaced.
