Send it back and get the correct one. It can't be the same part number if the connections are different. Your old one may have features that his new one doesn't. The one less wire may just be a shared return, but the stove might be needing individual returns. If it is an updated replacement (the listing sometimes says 'compatible with' or 'replaced by', or 'alternative part'), it should come with a wiring schematic.
Please always include full 'make MODEL (what it is)'.
Fixya Expert 'Jorgie the Appliance Guy' will have the answer if it is a shared return but he will need the model number. Edit your post and add it.

No orifice for the oven jet? All work on gas appliances needs to be done by a certified gas technician. Somewhere, normally just behind the knob, there is an adjusting screw (certainly for hobs). The flame must be high enough that it can't blow out. The standard test is the slam the oven door, with your kitchen windows closed and then again with them open. Help in the link, but also the pressure from the tank _at_ the range should be checked.

This is so confusing
You say
"The oven and broiler elements are not working"
Then you say
"Everything works except the burners'.
so nothing works? No oven/broiler elements and no burners? It make me wonder what the 'everything' is that works? The clock? The oven light?
Sounds like the main house breaker has flipped. On my older GE stove from the 1980s there are glass screw in fuses hidden below the controls and above the hobs. You undo the switch bezel for the oven light and the switch bezel for the rotisserie and pull the panel forward exposing 8 fuses. If all yours blew, it would be very strange!

F29 on all Frigidaire ranges means there is a communication error between the oven user interface and the touch panel. The control can't do the initial communication. This could be related to a wiring problem or a problem with the touch panel or the oven user interface board. Turn off the power to the range for 30 seconds to clear the code. If it returns, check that the wiring harness is fully seated. Check the wires for continuity and make sure that there is no corrosion on any of the pins. If the error repeats, replace the touch panel. If the error still persists, then replace the user interface board.
Please add a comment with the model of the range for a parts list/diagram.
I hope this helps.

Hi,
please make sure that there is a pot or pan on the stove top when you start it. It might be locking as a safety mechanism if it doesn't sense an object ready to be heated. Otherwise, please refer to the troubleshooting section of you manual to help turn off the locking mechanism.
Thank you.
It actually did you a favour. Week in and week out we see tales of woe where the door won't open, fans have burned out, elements have failed and even one poor gent who had a melted control board on a stove that there were no parts available. Self cleaning ovens which although seem a great idea, supply a steady parts income stream for the maker and revenue for repairers to come and fix.
Manual for the 358, yours doesn't appear to exist.

The oven control is getting a stuck or shorted key signal. Depending on the oven model, you need to replace the keypad, the keypad membrane or the entire console assembly.
Please add a comment with the model number if you want me to find the parts diagram.list for your oven. I hope this helps.

Question edited for clarity and name of maker 'fridgerdair'.
You have a non-standard prototype model that only exists in your house. You will need a service call. The control knob needs replacing, or the burner element under the glass needs replacing.
