Where is there a drain hole for the water?

Your Frigidaire window unit is the same as any other window unit. Typically window unit air conditioners don't have a drain. This is why you have to make sure the back of the unit (the end that goes outside) is slightly lower than the front when you put it in a window. When it gets so high with water it drains out the back onto the ground.

P-1 code

Hello Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you! If you are getting an error code P1 on your Frigidaire air conditioner, normally it indicates that the bottom tray is full. Carefully remove your air conditioner to a drain location and remove the bottom drain plug and allow the water drain. Then restart your appliance and P1 symbol should disappear after you have let your appliance run. However, if the error code continues, at this point, I would recommend reaching out to a professional to proceed further. - Z

Where is the drain pan drain hole on the bottom of the Fridgidaire FAC 127S1A air conditioner?

Good Morning Friend, I understand you want to know where the drain hole is on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC127S1A. I see that the drain seems to be blocked, as water is collecting in the drain pan, instead of draining. The drain hole is located beneath the compressor. You might want to try tilting your air conditioner slightly to the outside, to allow better water drainage. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

My frigidaire window a/c has a drain hole but it doesn't drain and it is not collecting any water near the coils. Why is it not draining?

Good Morning Friend, I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC126P1, is not draining water or collecting water near the coils. When your air conditioner was installed, you would have wanted to make sure that the top rail and sliding panels at each side were offset to provide the proper pitch to the rear of (5/16"). This is necessary for proper condensed water utilization and drainage. If you are not using the Side Panels for any reason, this pitch to the rear must be maintained! I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Why my air conditioner it's dropping water?

Condensation is normal but window air conditioners bases must be tilted to the outside of the window so the condensation drains outside. The drain hole in the pan can plug with dirt overfilling the pan allowing the water to leak inside your home.

What is the starfoam for in my airconditionar for?

Hey friend, thanks for your inquiry!

The sytrofoam inside the air conditioner is part of the duct work and it also helps to hold colder temperatures. The new air conditioners do not have drain holes but instead recycle the water inside your appliance to help cool the internal components. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
