Why do both green light and orange light stay on all the time?

Without knowing much about Frigidaire , I would say at a guess that the green light would mean there is power on and the orange would be that the temperature isn't down to what you have selected yet. Most freezers have these 2 lights or a display showing the same. Check that the freezer hasn't frosted up and the food has frozen correctly. If you have a thermometer, most domestic freezers should run at around -18 degrees celcius. If its a larger type for long term storage, the freezer would normally run at around -20.

Started making a loud buzzing noise. Have tried unplugging it and turning it off and on.

Good Morning Denise, thank you for your inquiry! From the information you have provided your Frigidaire freezer is making a buzzing noise and it will not stop. You may need to perform a reset on your freezer and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If the buzzing continues I would be happy to research your freezer further, in order to do so I would need your model number. You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside wall. Once I have that information I would be happy to help you further. -Matt

We have Frigidaire Upright Freezer. After 6-7 days its stops cooling as its condenser gets ice around it whereas the fan is working good. We clean the ice and it again starts working/cooling.

There are a few possibilities. Freeze-ups are a result of the unit either not having sufficient airflow or the compressor running too long and too often. As you note the fan is good, chances are airflow is not the issue. There are a few quick items that you can check on: 1. Check door seals. Leaks will cause the interior to lose cooling faster and result in compressor overloading. 2. Do not overload the freezer. Too much inside the freezer will cause loss of airflow INSIDE the unit and can cause issues. 3. Avoid putting too much unfrozen material into the freezer at once. It takes a lot of work to remove all the heat from a large amount of material. 4. Avoid multiple opening and closing of the door. Upright freezers are inefficient as they lose all their cold air as soon as you open the door. Chest freezers do better if you must go into the unit often. Lastly, undercharged refrigerant system can cause the same issue. If you don't have any of the other problems noted, have a serviceman check the refrigerant and fill the system as needed.

How to unlock control panel LFFH21F7HWG?

Press and hold the Control Lock key for three seconds to activate or deactivate the function. The Control Lock feature prevents the user from changing the temperature and freeze settings. At the first press of any key, the key press click tone will be heard and the display will show "LO", but no other change will take place. Holding the Control Lock key for three seconds will activate or deactivate the Control Lock feature. After three seconds, the accept tone sounds and the Control Lock LED (if so equipped) is activated. In lockout mode, when any key is pressed, the invalid key tone will be heard and "LO" will be displayed for 1 second. When the lockout is deactivated, the Control Lock LED is turned off and the display shows "UL" if this does not work unplug the freezer for 30seconds then plug it in. if all of the above fails replace the control.

Doest seem to be freezing as solid as it should aspecial in door

Hello Linda, thank you for your post! I understand that your Frigidaire freezer is not freezing properly. This could be an issue with your sealed system (which is compressor, condenser, drier, or tubing) or your control panel. The recommended temperature setting for your freezer is 0°F. It is also possible that this could be a miscommunication within the freezer and I would suggest performing a reset. You can perform a reset by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help resolve your problem you need to contact a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. -Matt
