hi, usually theres a service panel on the back for the main drum belt, remove that and see if the belts broke or teeth gone. if the belt is there then maybe the main board replaced. might be more cost effective to buy another machine than a new board, you can go to a USED appliance stored for parts verses buy new ( 1/2 price)

hi, Ive seen a bad connection at the plug inside the wall cause another hot spot inside the machine, I would inspect the connections inside the plug and terminal block, should be torqued down good.

Consensus is that E61 is a heater fault, in which case nowt to do with the board, but likely an open circuit in the heater element. Easy to check with an ohm-meter. Board diagnostics are correctly saying "I've been on for a few minutes but detect no heating..BAD". Keep the old board - it's likely fine.

if pressing the cancel button doesn't get rid of the power failure error "PF" then you have a bad control board. IF you have an uneven load this can happen, If the dryer has shifted in position and is no longer LEVEL or the feet have changed their distance leaving a gap or open space. The dryer can also move from vibration and be leaning against a wall or the washer next to it. Check that first, and if none of the above, then the drum may be misaligned. A belt could stretch. The shaft of the drum fits into a connecting part that may be worn and out of round or bearings are worn.

frigidaire dryers have problems with the computer boards,i've seen the affinity dryer start by itself,it will start to beep and then i can start up,but that error is telling you one of the buttons are stuck,if all the buttons check good you have a bad computer board.hope this helps you out.

Take your receipt and warranty papers back to where you purchased it. They should be able to help you.

you have a problem with the heat you can't just say it's the element or thermistor you have to unplug it,take it apart and get in there with a meter and check all the t-stats,element thermistor,if they check good you could have a bad computer board but hopefully it will be the element but if you just bought it the dryer is still under warranty for the first year so either call whoever you bought it from or the 800 number off of the machine

You are going to need a new timer for the dryer.
