Hello,
My x5 keeps popping my kitchen GFI plug in the kitchen, i plug it into a non GFI and the top light (heating element) flickers when turned off. When turned on it appears to be working ok?
Stop! Do Not use this machine until it can be serviced by your vendor or the MFR!
** There is probably an open or ruptured heating element in your brewer. The heating wire is embedded in a sand filled copper tube which is immersed in water. Sometimes when the copper tube cracks or leaks allowing water to seep into the heated wire. This will steam the water and rupture the tube thus exposing the element directly to the water in the tank. Most units will short out and trip out any breakers by overloading the line. Some will still heat the water but this is a dangerous situation as the 'short' in the water will still heat up the water to a high boil and may rupture to whole brewer. If your power cord does not have a good 'ground' wire then there is a strong chance your operators will get a shock while touching the machine and another 'grounded' machine (like the grinder)
** Be safe and get it properly serviced.

"francis francis" x1 blocked - Fix Suggestions?
You can tell if the pump is working by the noise it makes. Mine got blocked with scale and I took it apart and cleaned out the boiler. It's possible; the boiler is bolted together with standard bolts (metric size). If you've got the interest the Francis Francis is easy to service; you will find a way into each part of it and clean it, and if you do it will work like new.
How can i get parts for a francis francis x1
What parts? The gasket is a standard gasket and you can probably get it on ebay. One of the things I like about the Francis Francis is that you can take it to pieces; there aren't many parts that cannot be found. The screws are easy to obtain and replace; I used screws I bought for my motorbike. So you can find most things without going to Francis Francis - obviously the machine won't be guaranteed!
Ground Coffee Kit/Holder
There were two versions of the Francis Francis X1; one without the logo (older) and one with. I guess your only chance is ebay; but why would someone sell the holder without the machine?
How do i get into my iperesspresso to fix it?
iperesspresso seems to be a make of coffee? The X1 is easy to take apart; remove the two screws in the front, loosen the screw in the knob on the right hand side (there is a hole underneath that allows screwdriver access) and keep going. It's fairly obvious.
Francis francis espresso wont pump water but steamer works?
The main problem with coffee machines is they get furred up with limescale. If you let it go too long they can stop working like this. It's not difficult to take the machine apart if you're mechanically inclined and then you can clean each part.
Milk Steamer/Frother
Take off the end bit; it unscrews. Poke a needle through the hole; I find it gets blocked quite regularly. While it's disconnected turn the knob on the right. Steam should come out. If it doesn't there is a blockage inside the machine and you need to get inside it to fix it. But the only blockage I've had is in the end bit.
Francis francis x1
Take out the two screws on the front panel. There are other screws in the oval top section. When you find them and remove them you can slide off the sleeve and can then get at all the works.
Water leaks around the steamer
May be. If you get the machine upside down (switched off) you will find a hole near the steam knob which allows access to a screw. Turn this screw with a flat bladed screwdriver and the knob will come off. There is a gasket (washer) near the end of this know which is the seal. I don't know where you get the seal, but try finding a rubber seal in a gasket kit. This may be the problem.
