Is it a holley ?

The date code, either on the hood or RH transmission ledge, where you might find these numbers, they will tell exact day, month and year. The number will be like 3B14B where 3 is 1983, B is February, 14 is the 14th day and B is the day shift.

Serial number 8N175538 falls between the ID numbers 8N141370 and 8N245636. this put it as a 1949 modle

It is telling you that the current to the PMW (Pulse Width Modulation) solenoid that regulates the TCC (transmission torque converter) does not have a valid voltage. There could be a short in the solenoid its self or an open or short in the solenoid wiring.

You have to have your injector pump set at tdc by dealer or shop that deals with delco injector pumps. You set engine at 28 degrees btdc compression(marks will be on flywheel you can see through inspection hole) and then install pump tighten gear bolt then unlock injector pump,

If the 3 point lowering levers are next to the seat the lever closest to the seat should set the draft after lowering the hitch...Outside lever is up and down...Inside lever should be draft after lowering hitch.....Levers should be side by side after lowering

What is a "deisle"?

It is self adjusting , all hydraulic clutches are.

Sounds like the PTO is locked up.

Sounds like you have a short someplace. Make sure your wires are hooked up properly. Make sure your positive wire is on the right side of the starter. If you mixe the power side with the negative side will make a dead short.
