How to trouble shoot ford excursion BCM?
You'll need a friend with, or access to an advanced diagnostic scanner for sure, but check with your local Ford Dealer to see if yours is eligible for recall service or any upgrades related to that. Have a Great Day!
My ford focus stereo system went out
Easy: look in your owners manual for the location of the fuse box, identify the radio fuse, find it and replace it with an identical fuse, if this doesn't fix it please let me know- but that should do it. If you found this helpful please click the green button to let me know. Thanks again and have a Great Day!
I have a 2003 Ford F-250 7.3 diesel 4x4. Radio is dead and no lights or clock. Also no power to #32 fuse block on either side. Is there another power source fusible link or in-line fuse?
Normally clock and radio would be on same line, not main lights except if you are referring to cabin lights. There is probably a "dead short" , "short circuit"on that line. (Live wire touching earth). You could take a live fused wire directly to the radio and clock to see if one of them has failed and is creating the short.Could be a speaker wire that has come undone and touching the chassis.Radio also ,ostly has an additional fuse close to radio or on the chassis of the radio you can check. With regards to no power on the fuse block could indicate not being earthed well, or no power which would indicate to me the live wire has been severed or compromised .Normally this would be as result of any after market installations, or custom jobs, damaging the loom, or chafing if the vehicle has been used on dirt roads having it rattle and shake- hope you get it sorted
2009 Ford Fiesta. The Audio control panel cluster is not working.
If you've checked, all the fuses, chances are the cluster is bad.. Is the cluster completely dead? no indicator lights and gauges
The cluster has an internal battery saver relay controlled by an integrated micro processor for control over of some of the options.. Have seen problems with various circuits when the wider tap end inserted on one of the fuse legs over stretches the cjb fuse connections, then when removed, causes a bad connection on the fuse legs.. maybe not, but a possibility and checking for power distribution for all the feeds to and or at the cluster should be certain before the cluster is consider no good!!
