Hair dryer. Remove both tray inserts and dry thoroughly, paying special attention to the sensor area in the center of the upper tray.

Hi, I need to disassemble a Food Saver V3840 vacuum sealer, I need a service manual please?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Laundry Dryers. How on earth did you manage to plug in a 110 volt plug into a 220 volt socket? There is no service manual for these units. Return it to them for warranty repair. There is one video that may help. https://www.google.com/search?q=foodsaver+v3840%2C+service+manual

Foodsaver vac 1050

Perhaps the bags you are using are not suitable. If they are too thin it will not vacuum air out.

FOODSAVER V3880 DOESNT GET GOOD VACUUM IN BAG

Sounds like the foam seals are leaking. Go to their website to get replacement parts.

Cannot get it to vacuum.

Does it try to vacuum but never flattens the bag? Make sure the bag you are using is completely sealed on the opposite end. Otherwise, the seal on the sealer is probably allowing air to leak into the sealer. If it has a foam sealer, I've found it sometimes helps to run the foam sealer under water, squeeze out the excess water, reinsert the foam sealer (make sure it is seated all the way) and then try again to seal the bag.

Seals but won't draw all the air out. Seals fine

That could be a bad foam seal not completing suction, A piece of debris that got sucked into vacuum line and or in pump, or in some cases a crack in a elbow or pump housing.

Why does the vacuum sealer not seal the bag nor seal?

wow when I ran my food business I seemed the only one that could get this thing to seal right every night , Im gonna say it was because I wasn't in a big hurry , these machines work great but there not fast it takes sometimes 5/10 minutes to get a good seal on them , and you cant overload them either , when it comes to these less is more , makes for a easier time using them allow the food to stop about two inches from top edge of bag , and wipe any loose food from the sealing surface (inside) as this will affect the seal as well

The progress light on the food saver is flashing red

The heater bar is too hot. Allow it to cool for a while before resuming sealing.

The arm won't close on my v3250. The door only goes down part way?

I experienced the same problem yesterday. I somehow stumbled across the fix. I had the unit unplugged and used my thumbs to forcefully pull down the door (didn't use the handle). Once I discovered I could force it down with my thumbs, I plugged it back in while holding the door down and it seemed to reset itself and now works perfectly! Good luck!
