Ellipse Aura not recognized as a Fishman retail product when connected via USB.

If you purchased your Aura separately from your guitar, then that is definitely an issue. I have no suggestion. HOWEVER I thought I had this same "problem" with my onboard Aura on a DC-16RGTE. It's not actually a problem. The onboard images are images of the actual guitar model you own. You can't change them to other guitar images. You can only change the EQ settings by editing each image. Your guitar is your guitar - images & all.

I have a Fishman Presys preamp. I need a schematics to repair and adjust input amplifier for a new piezo pickup. Why there is no schematics or a service manual, but there is a chinese fake of 11$?

I strongly suggest you leave your preamp alone and instead construct an additional preamp for the piezo pickup. It will need to be a very high input impedance - more than 1 meg ohm but the sensitivity doesn't need to be high as the output of a piezo cartridge is typically 500 mv to 1100 mv, almost enough to produce a usable output from the amplifier directly into the line in... The gain of the piezo preamp need not be great, merely enough to provide enough drive to match the line input, but it should provide RIAA correction - google will find plenty of active and passive circuits for this. The current required for such a simple circuit is so small battery power would be a good choice for simplicity as it will simplify screening and cut hum and other interference to a minimum.

This is an indication of an internal component failure. The unit needs to be sent in for service. It requires special tools and skill to service.

Hello, I bought a second hand Martin J1 that has a fishman rare earth single coil pickup fitted. The problem is, when its plugged into the amp ( AER 60w) it makes a cracking noise every so often when

You have several options: 1. Do nothing and live with the occasional problem. 2. Check your guitar cable and the battery connections for loose or intermittent connections/noise. Try to see if it's the amp responsible for the noise....ie, Is it caused by vibrations, or maybe static....especially in winter when it's dry. Your home power may have noise on the line, so borrow or rent a power conditioner which filters out noise. If that fails, go to 3. 3. Bite the bullet and pay a competent guitar tech/luthier to repair it. Most of these issues are due to loose/faulty connections. Should be less than an hour. Hey....It's a Martin. 3a. Pay a guitar tech to loosen the end pin connector so you can see if you can repair it yourself.

My Fishman Prefix plus is not working through an

Check the battery in the preamp. Also adjust the eq to see if you might be clipping the frequency you are generating.

ALSO do not overdrive a tuner... they get confused and won't register.

Fishman Prefix Plus preamp on my acoustic guitar

You could try boosting the bass and reducing the highs on the EQ setting, however there MAY be a probllem with the pickup, not the preamp.

My fishman clearwave 60 tuner will not give me a green light...it just jumps back and forth between sharp and flat, no matter how small the movement on the guitar key

You may have the tuner too far away from the guitar or the batteries may be going flat. Check to make sure that there is nothing blocking the microphone hole and that there is no other noises in the area which could be affecting what the tuner is hearing

I have a fishman classic 4t that the battery isn't making a connection, what can I do? Do I need to replace it in my guitar?

can you tell if there is a wire broken? if you know how to use a vom meter you can check to see if you have continuity if you don't then you have a wire problem & make sure that your battery is good.
