sounds like the unit is not defrosting you will need to test the defrost element in the freezer

Is compressor running at all?

at the back there is usually a plastic peice covering it

common fault but you needs someone with the right diagnostic equipment

faulty sensor

sounds like the drain is blocked and maybe your element is not located correctly

check the fan that blows the cold air from the freezer to the fridge,this is a common fault it is located between the fridge and freezer compartments

did you turn the control the right way the lsrger the number the cooler the setting

the pump has either something jammed in it so remove it and check,if good check the pump copper windings for any uneven coloring if darker in one area replace pump

it is behind the plastic panel at the back of the freezer,usually just clips in and pulls out

if not humming at all then i would say a new thermostat should fix the problem

thermostats are cheap buy a new one and fit it

either a shorted out relay which is connectrd to the side of the compressor or wirings inside the compressor have shorted out ,relay is easy to check its under a plastic box cover on the sideof the compressor,pull it off and have a look for any burn marks or smell even shake it to see if it sounds all broken up inside is only a small unit if good then its time for a new fridge

the higher the number you set it to the colder it gets if the freezer will not cool on high then you have a compressor or gas problem neither is worth repairing

try some vaseline jelly on the seal on the hindge side of the door to see if that helps

the lamp knob may be sticking try it by hand id so the unit in which it is in has bee assembled incorrectly

will need someone with the correct diagnostic equipment to tell you whats wrong

test the defrost element with a multi meter to ensure it is not faulty,it may be the cause as to why your freezer had so much ice to begin with

this can also be caused by a faulty rely,which is mounted under a plastic cover attached to the compressor
