Hi, There is a thermo fuse in this unit and it can cause the controller not to power up. It is located on the heater plate, if the unit got too hot this will cause this fuse to blow and cause not power to the controller to a singe drawer unit only, this would not shut down both drawer though. This fuse is not replaceable other than replacing the plate itself. Get back to me if you need part numbers and I can get them for you or you can call Fisher and Pakel directly and they are 24 hours a day service call center. The plate is tricky to replace and you will have to change both seals at the same time, not real pricey though. I hope this helps, keep the unit, its a good dishwasher.. F4 is a heating error- dishwasher has not reached temperature in allocated time. If intermittent fault, problem is usually with electronic board, which has temperature sensor attached. Sometimes the wiring to the control board burns out and can give intermittent false readings causing F4 error. Disconnect from power, remove front panel (4 screws down each side). You can now see wiring going to control board- check for burnt wires. Also check temperature sensor (small square with two purple wires) is stuck to inner door panel- if this is not stuck to inner panel, temperature sensor will not work properly. If in any doubt, call in the experts!!

You have to turn the power off, clean that cesspool drain area thoroughly, dry all around the door seal, and tip dishwasher backwards. Then the flood switch resets and the E30 error disappeared for me.

Although I'm not familiar with this model, it sounds like a switch is stuck or misaligned. With most electronic things, there's a physical toggle switch (sometimes 2 magnetic points, similar to a window security system) located somewhere along the drawers tracks or latch or at the back. Try to find it and see if it still freely moves. If it does than most likely the switch has failed and needs replacement. Hope this helps and good luck!

I think the first thing I would do is ensure you have good pressure at the water inlet and the filters in the hoses are clear. After that, I think the water pump comes into question. OR a hose has de-laminated inside and has caused a flow restriction.

It would still eventually show up somewhere, though a leak like that would kill the heater plate too.

maybe circuit breakers trip from excessive current and poor insulation or moisture around electrical contacts call in an electrician to test the unit first and then repair / replace what is found to be faulty remember that the power point for the unit may also be on the house circuit that is having a problem unit somewhere else that is causing the fault

If the panel display on the lower drawer is lit and you can select the program then most likely the water inlet valve is fault and needs replacement. But if the panel is dark and none of the buttons operate then the power to the drawer is cut off. This can be due to a number of reasons including the power board at the base loosing one power circuit or the thermal fuse in the drawer is blown. Please provide model number of dishdrawer unit and also please describe what is actually happening.
