Everyone doesn't want computers infected with a virus. The question is, where the virus entered into the computer. There are two possibilities, may be infected from the Internet or external device (flash drive, memory cards, external hard drives, etc). Flash drives are external devices that are often used. When we insert the flash drive to the infected computer, flash drive will be infected with the virus. In a flash drive that is infected, will form the autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf files will work automatically, every flash drive is inserted. Setting the default operating system is windows autorun when inserted an external device. Hello and welcome to FixYa!
If you lost your serial number, I strongly suggest that you go to ESET NOD32 website and contact them. Be sure that proof of purchase is ready for they may ask you for some confirmation codes. This is to ensure that you really did purchase the product.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
I see your Eset anti virus is not repsonding for you to be able o utilize its functionlaity again you may need to uninstall and reinstall the program again to make this work.
If the program is experiencing corruption then reinstalling it may fix the problem,
If I may ask is this a trial version or a full version of the Eset NOD 32 anti virus?
if it is a trial version you will have to purchase the full version to be able to use its functionality again , reinstalling the trial version I guess may not works since that will be registered in the Windows registry.
