Both headlamps suddenly stop working
Your low beam/high beam switch has gone bad. Happens over time. Replacing can be a pain to fix yourself but not impossible. Requires removing the steering wheel. You can watch some YouTube videos to learn how or find a friend that's handy with tools. Mechanics shouldn't charge too much for it. The part will be the biggest cost as this switch is also the turn signal assembly. Part will usually cost $50 to $100 dollars depending on the year, model, make, and options of the vehicle.
Timing job
if the timing marks are out of alignment than yes I believe you will need to remove it to realign them. I am not aware of any way to align them with it in place anyways
Toyota
Same as your other post---"code" problems means you need to take your car in and have a computer diagnostic ran on it. You probably can't fix this at home without the equipment.
Toyota car
Your post doesn't make much sense, but "code" problems with newer cars means you need to take it to a shop and have them run a computer diagnostic on it. Good luck.
