Firstly I woud delete the windows driver and download a fresh driver from Epson.

You're going to need to plug in the Cat5 cable from the printer to the drawer and then reboot everything because now it is talking now it's connected the telephone Port yes it used to be for phones but that is Cat5 cable so once you plug that Cat5 cable in you're good you're good to go

Since you are using the USB-to-serial converter, you need to select the serial interface in the printer driver installation.

1. Uninstall the driver in Control Panel > Add or remove programs
2. Restart the computer
3. Install the printer driver again, this time select serial in the interface list
4. Set the properties for the serial port to 9600 for the data rate
5. Print a test page!

This happened to me. What I did that worked was first unplug the power cord. Open up the printer where you can access the ink cartridge. Check for any paper jam or debris. Clean that out. move the cartridge all the way to right and slide it back and forth about 5-8 times. Plug the cord back in and try to reprint again. I hope this help.

How old is the printer? These things change often, New technology it's outdated the day it hits the shelves. Not really but you get the gist.

If it is a USB printer then try replacing the USB cable. Otherwise also try changing the power cord.

Go to Control Panel - Device Manager & find your Printer i.e. little arrow by the Imaging devices. Right click the T88 & click upgrade drivers, then clik the upper choice & it will go to Microsoft & find the correct driver for that unit & install it.
