Hi There,I have a Topcon RL-H3C Laser and its not turning on.
There could be a few reasons why your Topcon RL-H3C laser is not turning on. Here are some things to check:
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly, with the positive and negative ends in the right positions.
Check that the battery contacts are clean and free from any corrosion or dirt.
Try cleaning the power switch and any other switches or buttons with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be preventing them from working properly.
If none of the above steps work, it's possible that there may be a problem with the internal circuitry of the laser. In this case, it's best to take it to a qualified technician for repair.
Also, if the laser has been stored for a long time, it's possible that the batteries may have leaked and damaged the contacts or other components. In this case, it may be necessary to replace the affected parts.

Can I use an Energizer Ultimate Lithium 9V battery in a Fire Sentry Model 0914?
One possible problem with using a battery that lasts a long time is maintenance.
When a battery needs changing annually or even twice annually, the smoke alarm is opened and somebody gets to look inside and that not only reveals whether there is an excess of dust and spider webs inside or blocking the grille, it also serves as a reminder to test the alarm periodically.
A web across the grille can stop the alarm working and when a battery lasts for five years plus, the habit of testing the alarm weekly or even monthly can soon be lost.
